Does anyone have the ansswer to my question....
I've had my samsung u700 for 5 months and out of no where my connection dies.
i can't recieve or make phone calls or texts even though i have full bars and places where i did have service no says limited service.
Can anyone help me??

where you able to fix it?
my friend ran into the same problem and i found out that the settings in the call restrictions was on.
did you check for that?
For verizon its under Settings & Tools -> Call Settings -> Restrictions

^hmm i went to call settings but it have restriction??
im going through the same problem,

I have finally found the answer!!!
Depending on you service provider the phone will run on certain tri or quad brands. ( i think thats what they are called.)
like if you go to www.gsmarena.com it will say the network it runs on
for example 850/900/1800/1900
Samsung u700 doesnt run on 850 so if your service provider doesnt support 850 than thats why.
i believe that AT&T runs 850 and T-Mobile can support 900 or greater.
Um correct me if i am wrong
