healthy fats: stuff like tuna, salmon, flax, and walnuts.
protein sources: meats, fish, poultry, nuts and seeds.
healthy carbs: veggies, fruits and alot of that whole grain stuff.

Atelier is spot on.

Generally eat 5-6 meals a day, cutting down on carbs by early afternoon. Yes you can eat 4 ~ some people need 7 meals.

Your largest meal is breakfast, and if you workout then thats the next most important meal. Make sure to get Protein, Vegetables, and Carbs. Drink water frequently and you are good to go. Just expanding on Atelier's information since she said everything I wanted to say.

* for me whenever vegetables are available, I'm eating them. Carbs I decide based on when it is in the day as I'm not very carb tolerant ( I get tired after eating carbs, and I bloat quickly if I don't severely control my intake ).

If you want to gain good weight, just put on some lean muscle to add more curve to your physique and lean muscle tissue weighs more then fat and takes up a LOT less space. That was what the toned fit look is, and the rest cut, defined, etc is determined by body fat % and water weight.

Every single reply thus far is entirely correct!

Before i only take 1 or 2 meals a day.. im lazy to eat and etc. but now 3-4 meals. I dont usually workout. Thanks for the reply, now im goin to try 5-6 meals everyday and take healthy foods as much as i can. =x
