Six days until APUSH. -________-

Anyone have predictions for this year's DBQ?

I don't think it's going to be
a recent one =/

Last year's DBQ was the VIETNAM WAR

which the students last year practically ACED.

yeah sleep.gif pisses me off.

So this year it's probably going to be something
thats like before the 1900s
that's what I think.

I HOPE

it's going to be on the Jackson era, Progressive
era, Populist era
because those are my favorite
periods in History xD

HAHAH ^ (dork...big time)

^ I hope it's from something before the 1900s.... Preferably the early 1800s. laugh.gif Since I stopped reading the textbook around the Progressive era.

^My friend was snooping around cc, and he found out that the DBQ might have to do with the Jacksonian era. D:
That, or it might have to do with the 1920s (Great Depression) since it contrasts with current events right now.

Oh yah, how'd you guys do on the subject tests today? I found the MathII to be ridiculously long and confuzzling. I ended up not doing 13 'cause I ran out of time. I don't understand how my friend finished the whole test in 30 minutes!

I hope it's the Jacksonian era or before, but I wouldn't totally bet on CC since they too are making prediction themselves. laugh.gif

I took MathIIC yesterday... I thought the test was generally easy - meaning the curve won't be as lenient. D: But my time management wasn't as efficient as it should have been so I skipped 5 and already know I got at least 4 wrong from checking CC. T_T

Uh, yeah, I'm not ready for this test at all. I haven't really done much studying yet because my teachers think it's a BRILLIANT idea to try to cram in as many tests and homework right before the APs, and also, my teacher's on the 1960s right now. Yeah........no way we're finishing :x

Aw man, but I love the recent stuff )':!!! I love the 20th century stuff in general. If Jackson comes up, I'm SCREWED...haha laugh.gif I just fell asleep the entire time my teacher taught the Jacksonian era :/

Yeah. I read this up on CC but decided to ask what you guys think tongue.gif I guess the same thing?
I'm kinda shooting for Progressives... i'm not very good with Jacksonian politics >_>

For those who have extra-researched UC's,
do you guys have any idea which ones have the best political science programs?

At least you guys know the names of the eras, I have absolutely no idea :x
Yeah, I'm pretty much set on failing that one ):

But I'm scared for all my other AP's! I'm not confident in any of them D:
And to top it off, next tuesday will be ap psych and apes on the same day, ughhhh.

michellek I've heard that UCSD and UCD both have really good political science programs

my teacher predicted that out DBQ would be on the Great Depression because we're basically in a second Depression right now...that's actually pretty good because the Great Depression isn't a hard section. I just hope they won't make us compare FDR and Obama. really? Jackson? i don't even remember anything about the Jasksonian era. noo!!
ahhhh!! stress!! should not be on soompi right now....but just think, after AP testing, school will basically be over for us!
I only have 2 real finals left...the rest are projects or the teacher isn't giving a final at all. english and chinese. shouldn't be too hard. smile.gif
I've read 60 pages of AMSCO today!...but 0 pages of Bio Cliff Notes.

situponatree*: I bought the barron's flash cards. They're.... mildly helpful. Probably would have been more helpful if I got the cards a while back and looked at them frequently each day but I only bought them last week. It helps with giving you an idea what each of those major terms means so that you recognize it on a multiple choice question when it comes up.

If its on the Great Depression

THANK THE LAWD.

Because I like the Great Depression its rather interesting

BUT if they make us compare Herbert Hoover and FDr
I'm going to scream because..I don't really get how
Hoover was a conservative?

Franklin Delano Roosevelt FTW!!!!

...holy fnakljs;fhw
I thought I was going to speak at a Rotary meeting (the parent club of Interact) today about an upcoming event in the club...
I already did that before so I was totally cool with it. but
it was actually a faculty meeting. HOLY CRAP. (the principal is part of Rotary so I guess he set up a 2-min space for us...)
I didn't know it was a faculty meeting until 3 minutes before.
the president of the club told me it was a Rotary meeting. NOT A FACULTY MEETING. YEAH. THANKS.
it sucked. big time. not not not good.

I'm gonna fail AP Stats tomorrow. LOL, i literally don;t know ANYTHING. FML.

Question: How much do AP tests count in college admissions? Do colleges even care that much?

DO NOT USE BARRON'S. I only have Barron's because my friend just gave it to me for free since she's a senior. WORST. BOOK. EVER. FOR APUSH. DO NOT BUYYYY. Total waste of money! It doesn't even review anything...they don't even give a summary! :x

I would highly recommend AMSCO haha.
