Mainly because it's the start of the college process T_T
This college process feels awkward for me since most of the people I know aren't planning on going to an art college so I don't have close friends who share my portfolio pains ;_;
I didn't check too far back but has anyone else here taken the AP French exam? T__T just....wow...I'm so happy that's over
I still have AP English LangComp and AP US left (the late exam, May 20th)
Most of my AP US has to be self taught though ;_;
My teacher didn't finish talking about LBJ's Great Society yet T___T
Though the later years are a smaller %age of the test I still feel don't feel ready oTL

i would start this summer, to get a head start. because trying to juggle everything the beginning of senior year is gonna be a pain. i'm planning to fill out the general info and work on essays for the apps this summer.

junior year is hell, i agree. mainly because it's the most important year,
so grades/exams/SAT&ACT are all piled on top of each other. it absolutely sucks.
and i can imagine how stressful putting together a portfolio must be. :/
you're so lucky you get to take the delayed exam! do you have REA's crash course?
i bought AMSCO and i didn't have enough time to finish it, so i regretted not buying that tiny, easy-to-read REA book after i took the exam. i've heard some really good things about it, and it's perfect if you're crunched for time.

It's recommended that you start writing the essays during the summer.
Although the essay prompts aren't released until the summer, for some colleges, like the UCs, you can predict them since they're so similar every year.
I think I'm only writing essays for the UCs...you only need 2 or 3 right?
I was the opposite of you! I though the MC was on the easier side but there were a couple of weird ones in the writing section. I hope I successfully bs-ed my way through them. I'm disappointed in myself....I should have known everything in the free response. *sigh* oh well...it wasn't bad for me though because my teacher is really tough.
now...it's time to study for SATs!! yayyy. june SATIIs in 3.5 weeks!! i am ecstatic. oh! then there's state testing in 1 day which actually goes on your college transcript, then there's the october SATI and November SATII!
I don't understand why they only give language tests with listening in November...doesn't it make sense to give it at least two times a year, once in the spring and once in the fall?

I'm taking my SAT in June, & I know that I won't do well
Schedule for next year.
Pre-Cal
Government
Band (double block)
AP Environmental Science
AP European History
Hotel management (double block)
Taking English 4 & Economics during the summer for Dual Credit, so it counts as college class hours & highschool credits.
Any advice on the SATs? Besides studying

for SATs, I'd recommend for you to start studying 2-3 months before the test date. don't wait until 2 weeks or even a month before the test to start studying b/c that's way too late. I have to take it for the 3rd time in october.
oh oops...you're taking it in june...um...well, cram!! and good luck!
I think the only way you can improve is by doing exercises over and over again.
yes!! 17 more school days left!! i'm so psyched. :]
does anyone know a good SAT book besides the official SAT book and Barron's? I've already went through the official book twice and I don't like the Barrons reading/writing section. any recommendations?
