sure theres a bunch of fun but i know its not gonna be as easy as some ppl say it will be ><
maybe cuz im taking 7 APs but w/e

and i totally screwed up SATs / SAT IIs and so i have to take a test every single available test date until january! -shoots self-

i started on apps . . . but those things r dmn hrad @____@ especially the essays >_>
anyone else having trouble thinking of a topic / writing ??

and then the AP scores @___@ why do you have to pay 8 bucks to get them?? thats so lame ><

and my gpa is dropping ; u ; darn

random azn. Haha. LOLs on the you might go crazy part. I was actually just talking to my friends mom about wanting to major in pysch the other day & she was all "you know what they say. Those that counsel other ppl often go to a shrink themselves." Hahaha. But there are so many different area of pysch, it's like, "why would I need a shrink if I only into research?" o.O But you hey, double majoring in business might not be a bad idea. It's hard, but I plan to get a music minor & that means learning theory & piano from the very beginning. I know, I'm like the only asian that doesn't play piano. T_T So why not do a pysch major & a business minor? I mean, our interests might change in college right? Who knows... maybe you'll fall for business? x] So where do you plan to apply to?[/color]

That is true, I don't plan on being a shrink when I grow up, at all. I just wanna do research, like you said. And I mean, in whatever career path you pick, Psych would help in the sense that it'll be easier for you to deal with people and such. You know?
Dude, don't worry too much, I can't play the piano either, or read music. LOL
Because my mom wants me to have a degree in Business, but I also want a degree in Pysch, and this is the only way to please me and her. The only sucky thing about dual majoring (just realized that the term is not double unless it's in the same department, bleh) is that each department has their own required classes, and well I just researched the requirement and the list is like super long. I might not graduate in 4 years.
Yeah, my friends are like 'sure dual major all you want, you're gonna end up majoring in business." Cause of how challenging Psych is at the college I plan to attend.

I just sent in my application for University of Missouri-Columbia (MIZZOU) It's about 2 months early, but I'm just itching to know if I'll be accepted, cause if I am then I don't have to worry about application to other schools. I know people say it's bad to just apply to one school, but that's why I'm doing it so early, cause then if I don't get it, I can start applying for those other schools.
I'm soooo nervous, I'm supposed to received my login info to their admission's site soon to find out about my application process and such. I should get it within 2 weeks. And then like another month or so, before I know if I'm accepted. Scary thought.
The only thing I'm worried about is my school sending the college my transcript. I requested it to be sent by the 7th. But...I'm not so confident with my high school counselor much.

^ huh? collegeconfidential is a forum where a bunch of wayyy overachievers come together and talk about their 2300 and 4.1 GPA fails.
a bunch of people called in a paid 8.95 for each test to get their AP scores early.....my friends showed me the site a couple of weeks ago...it's a really depressing site.

Agreed. I feel more and more depressed everytime I go on there. LOL, compared to those kids, I have no chance of getting into a decent college. I called in to get my AP scores, and they still havent charged my card yet. As expected, I failed APUSH, but got some decent scores on my other ones.

I have to take SAT IIs since I wasn't ready for them last year as a junior, and retake the SAT since this one college requires a minimum of a score to be considered! GAH! #&%(*^#%! harvard, stanford, yale, MIT, princeton, caltech, upenn, columbia, duke, university of chicago, northwester, cornell, emory, and georgia tech <- so he can "keep an eye on me" (he lives in georgia)
for my mom i'll apply to rice and university of texas (i live in texas)

umm the apps i have out are: harvard, yale, princeton, caltech, columbia, cornell, emory, and rice

though around now, the others should be releasing theirs since the common app should be released - not sure though

Early preparing for college apps doesn't really mean anything because it's not about how fast you finish, its about how good your topic is
even though ive "started", i havent really done anything because i cant think of a good essay topic. so dont feel bad :]

and omg my dad screwed up something so i was suppose to take the SAT on 6/6 but i couldnt! wasted that test day
now i have to take an SATs (reasoning and subject) ever single available test day! i'm sooo screwed cuz theres no time!
i've only taken 1 SAT II and i SUCKED. most of the places im applying require 3!

Colleges will look at both and kinda put it into context. They'll probably go with your weighted class rank as a comparison, or they may use thier own little formula. My point is though theyll probably put more weight on weighted GPA.

I am so scared. I am totally flipping out lmao D: I know almost next to zilch about colleges and as much as I try to look up schools and what they require and whatnot I'm still very much confused. & people keep telling me that if you meet the criteria for colleges most of it is just plain 'close my eyes and I will draw your name out' type of luck while other people are telling me that that's bs. I don't really know what's going on or what to do ._.

SAT score: 1920 :/ trying to apply to some UCs (since I live in CA) mainly trying to get into UCI and UCSB since they're around the same level but with SAT scores and a gpa like mine I think I'd be lucky if I could get in ... is community service a huge boost in getting accepted? I've been so on & off with mine so it's going to look horrible on my transcript since I haven't been consistent at all and I don't even play sports or anything so I look like some lazy high school student D:

I'm hoping that if I do really well and get a 4.0+ gpa my senior year and pass all 3/4 of my AP exams with a 3-5 score, it'll help me a lot with college acceptances :/ my weighted gpa from 9th to 11th is a 3.75 D:
