1. It's costly (homecoming, prom, colleges, portraits, graduation stuff, etc)
2. There are so many college applications! & we really only have one month to do them xD
Well, let's just hope for the best :]

although judging from my crappy credentials, I won't be applying
to anywhere worthwhile. I think community college is going to be one of my apps.
Anyway, on a cool note, I am 50 pages from finishing my first summer reading book (Don Quixote) for
AP English Literature.

7 APs? Woah, that's a lot. But yeah, I doubt I'll be able to relax.

yayy thanks.
I can't believe over a month of summer has already passed by.
omg. in less than a month it's all the pre-school activities.
less than a month!!! nooo...
when I first started writing them, I hated it too. but now, I totally love them. this will sound really vain, but where else can you talk about yourself so much? haha plus it's so much easier than writing a paper about hamlet or the grapes of wrath.
yeah, I'm worried about people writing the same thing as me, but I'm thinking that if I stay down to earth, don't lie about anything, and add in bits of humor, my paper should shine through at least a little bit. the worst thing is to come off as fake, right?

Yea, I feel you. I have 7 APs next year, two of them being calculus, and an internship everyday after school for two hours. I really wish that I could be the type of person to just take some boom boom classes, but I just cant. Ugh, I ended junior year so well, but it's gonna go downhill from here. I have soo much summer crap to do like my AP lit crap, my ap bio stuff and some more summer reading.
Ugh, i seriously need to curb this bad procrastination habit that i have.

LMAO, i know a couple ppl in my class with fully loaded ap schedules next year. I'm just hoping that I don't bomb and kill myself but overestimating how much i can really handle. lol. I know, i can't take regular classes because they move wayyyy to slow and it's just too boring. It sucks because even though i did really well junior yr, my freshman year, i completely messed up and now i'm paying for it. Ughhh

Florida State University
Boston College
Boston Univeristy
Tufts
University of Rochester
Northeastern and NYU.
I'm wondering whether to apply to Cornell or not.
If only my SAT/ACT scores were higher, i would feel much more confident about this whole process.
I thought we didn't start FAFSA till after January?
I'm thinking FSU or UCF for me.

I'm completely lost, and I have no idea as to what I should be doing right now...
Getting started with college apps? And from what I can see, some are already starting their personal statement!?
Idk.
Can someone enlighten me?

I took calc last year too. I'm only taking 6 APs this year. I dropped Latin. I didn't think I would have been able to handle it. I'm going take Psych but I doubt that the class is going to be that easy either. Meh

I suggest buying a book with successful personal statements.
I remember reading Harvard personal statements and some dude included a magic trick/visual puzzle in his XD

Probably a Comp Sci major for me. I'm just dreading long labs like how my friend describes it.
