So did anyone get their ELC letter from a UC yet?

If our letter said that '[I] am well on [my] way to becoming eligible for the University through the more traditional statewide eligibility pathway', I guess I'm not ELC.
I'm in top 4%, but the way they calculate it - I guess I'm not. So is it only ELC people that gets guaranteed admission to one UC? Or do statewide eligibility get it too? >.<

Our gown will be black, I wish it was baby blue! Our school color is black, blue, and white.
What color gowns will you guys be wearing?
Oh man, this is exactly like my school. Our class rings range from $200-$500. Which I regret buying last year.
Class Ring : $200 - $500
Senior Dues (Luncheon, senior activities, etc.) - Rougly $200
Senior Sweats - $25 - $50
To think that Christmas is just around the corner.... -__-

We had our senior night yesterday. Someone threw a stickbomb at the prep rally after all the lights were off (we had glow sticks for light), everyone started coughing. I thought I was going to die.
I heard that our school had to wait for four years do have that "Glow sticks/Lights out," because apparently people threw condoms filled with water or pee from above the stands.
That's pretty cool! What will be your major? What about for the undecided people? We were suppose to wear red stoles for the people who gave blood, but our school doesn't allow it for some reason.

So far she has paid for my class ring which is two hundred something. The principal planned a senior trip for us in December and we were supposed to make a $50 deposit two weeks ago. Nobody has paid yet because they have not kept tabs on this. This month caps, gowns, and everything that comes along with that has to be paid this month and senior ads have to be paid on the 14th.
I am pretty sure there is more we have to pay for but its unknown for now. What a year.

Let's see:
apps: $400
cap and gown: $55
transcripts/scores: $100
club dues: $130
photos: $400
ahh, this is ridiculous!
Second semester come faster!

I'll model my senior sweats when it comes in.
I honestly don't know what color each major will get. But I'm in the business major at our school and I think last year they had green. It's a pretty cool program though. There's business, EMT, pre-vet, nursing, etc.
Congrats maydai3333 on your acceptance!

I actually get first dibs at seeing my school's Senior sweatshirts designs and approving of it or not. I'm c/o 2010 sec. It looked quite girly so we told the guy to change the font. lmfao. The design isn't so bad itself. Seniors are spelled "SEN10RS". (with the 10 replacing 'io' if you've missed it there.

I got my guaranteed letters to basically all the UC's except the top three UC's - Berkeley, LA, and San Diego. I don't think they participate in the ELC do they?
Has anyone turned in their UC apps yet? I just submitted mine yesterday. Hopefully my personal statements would be good enough cause I didn't really have it checked. Just grammar check from my AP English teacher and I had my counselor look over it once. >_<
Oh, and is anyone planning to apply to any out of state colleges? I've been looking at some, but I don't even know if I'd be able to handle going away so far from home.

Oh wow! You're done with UC apps already? Congrats on pressing send. I think that's going to be hardest for me.
I'm still working on my personal statement. Gotta finish polishing up my first prompt and draft up my second.
Congrats on ELC too. I got it too! Davis is a good safety. My friend goes to Davis and she likes it there.

Yeah, I started on it awhile ago. Sucks though cause I didn't have much to tell. I worked on personal statements ever since summer for my AP English class so I basically just had to fill out infos. My cousin graduated from Davis and she liked it as well. Davis was the only guaranteed UC I applied to since Davis has always been my back up. If I don't get into Berkeley, LA, SD, or the other private colleges I'm applying to, then I'll be going to Davis.
Do you think not have community service hours would hurt my chances of getting in to the top universities? In total, I have less than 100 hours. >_<
