For most ACs, u can either use air from outside or use air from inside the cabin. Whats the difference and which ones do you guys use?

when i bought my car, the dealer said only use recycle to bring down the temp drasticly like when u first hop into the hot car. if u leave it on recycle, the air goes back in and the moisture stays in the vents, mold might grow.. eewww

Love like you've never been hurt

when u first start using the a/c, use recycle or inside air to cool the cabin faster. This is what most automatic temp. control systems in cars do. it apparently saves energy and time or something. but after it gets cool, start using outside air.

Usually I use the outside air first, because the air inside the car is hotter if it has been sitting in the sun.
After a few minutes I switch to recycle/inside air and drive like that if it is really hot. About 5-8 mins before my destination, I switch back to outside air.
1-2 mins before my destination, I turn off my A/C to get rid of any moisture.
I've never had mold or funky smells from my vents. I know, it sounds like a hassle but I got used to it.
LOL good tip my friend.

If you have a smelly person in your car, do not recycle

I mostly use recycled air, because I have a sensitive nose and can't stand car pollutants coming from the tailpipe (i.e old cars, gross polluting trucks, and cold start cars driving around (that white smoke when the engine is cold)

you didn't give me the option for:
"ac? whats that?"

i dont have ac in my car; and if i did, i'd likely recycle air...unless of course i'm smoking, otherwise i'd use fresh air.
