QUOTE (xbbviet. @ Jul 28 2008, 12:08 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
so i had a summer cheer practice today. everything
was fine except when we got to do flips and stuff i
'suddenly got a MAJOR headache and my vision was
getting all blurry. i felt like i was going to throw up.
is it cause the weather was REALLY hot or is there
something wrong with me ? O.O"

were you hydrated?
its sounds kind of like a blood rush to me.
but if the symptoms continue go to the doc.
It is the Soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of press. It is the Soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer who gives us freedom to demonstrate. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and who's coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.
Hooah!

well, did you eat a lot?

i always get spotted vision and dizzy if i dont eat enough before i work out.

and since it was so hot out, you were probably dehydrated or something.

i totally had that feeling before!
some people told me it i was having a 'blackout'
it was scary because first i felt like the room was spinning, then my hearing went out, and i had the biggest urge to throw up.
it was embarassing because this happened to me in front of my whole class. >.<
i dont know why this happened. I was on my period and i hadnt eaten anything for quite a while.
so yeah, were you on your period and did you eat?

AHHH
i remember when i did cheer
when i first started tumbling
i would get really dizzy and wouldn't really be able to see anything...
i think i got over it though eventually.
have you been cheering long bcuz it might just be cuz you're not used to tumbling??
gooood thing i was mainly stunting instead of tumbling or i'd be like passing out on the floor. haha

but anyway
i still get those blackout/dizzyness things when ive spent day(s) loafing around/sitting on my butt. and then i get up and i can't see and my eyeballs are burning out of my face...my mom gets them too..she says something about not having enough iron(?) in the body...or something...so yeah....

Drink a lot of water. Even if you think you're not thirsty, drink water anyway. Make sure you eat, like breakfast and everything. I used to have fainting spells and stuff ALL the time a while ago, but once I started eating breakfast every morning it got a whole lot better.
