Yes, Cyworld cant accept hotmail.

The thing you highlighted said that Cyworld may not be able to accept Hanmail or Hotmail accounts probably because so many people sign up with it. If that is the case, they said to use another mail service like Naver, korea.com, gmail, etc. It is possible, I made 2 accounts for people at another forum and it went though, but sometimes it doesn`t work.

Click 비밀로 하기 for the comment. (make it secret/hidden)
You do have to do it for every one of them and it is close to 수정 (edit) and 삭제 (delete).

Well, that would explain why I could never apply -____- But why do they have hotmail as a choice then if they don't accept it? I tried using my yahoo account and it said something about my social security number in korea or something? o_o

Then I made a new hotmail account and it accepted me on the first try. Now i'm just waiting for the approval.

Did you do the 외국가입 (Overseas registration)?
If not it will ask you for 주민등록번호 (Korea`s SS#) if you did it just regularly.
But if not, it is probably asking for ID. Let me take a look at it.

Go to 사생활보호설정 (Settings) on the homepage near your box on the top left corner > 일촌관리 (Friend Settings) > 관심일촌/파도타기관리 (Friend Settings sub-menu) > 파도타기 비공개 (Favorites Settings - Its a link near the middle of your page)

Check everyone there and press 확인 (Okay). ^^

The pop-up is saying that only your passwords is the problem.
Did you put at least 6 characters, letters, AND at least 1 number? ^^
If not, that`s your problem.

Yeah, I used overseas for both. But it doesn't really matter now.

Okay so you know when you get that email everyone gets as soon as they register? & you have to resend them the ID? Well, I did but the next day I got an email from hotmail saying it got delayed and that I didn't need to resend it. I got that email yesteday and I didn't get an updated e-mail. Should I just resend it? Cause tomorrow [Tuesday] is going to be the day that I registered for 7 days. :x

Can anyone tell me about the phone number... i can't register it, when i push the button at the end of the registration page it popup a dialogue message, and highlight the box with 010/011/016/018... number. And i don't have a Korean phone number, either
