I have a question about the cyworld registration.
it says to type the name that is on your identification, which is for me, in english,
but will i be able to change it to korean after signing up or is it permanent once i turn in the registration?

after accepting the agreement, I get this box, which doesn't look like any of the boxes in the tutorial on the first page....Could someone please let me know what it says?


and also for later in the tutorial (judging from the first page), when it asks for you name, should you type your full name (first and middle) or just your first? and for the identification part, I have my drivers license but what exactly do you type into that box? 'drivers license'? Thanks much in advance and sorry for all the questions

^ really? I kind wonder if the cyworld has changed its foreign registration procedure....because even the button you're supposed to click in order to get to the agreement form is different than the one on the tutorial

everytime I try to send my identification (through the form) I get this thing that says that the page cannot be found!

A little bit in more detail:

so I try to put my Military I.D. in, so I browse through my computer, then when I try to upload it, it goes to a different page and that page says "this page cannot be found"

I've restarted my computer, and tried coming back to it, but it still won't work.

can anyone help me.

k when you guys get past the agreement, there should be a small button at the bottom of the screen where there's those three blank boxes...
it should take you to a screen where it's like the first post.

Well, if you're korean than you can type your korean name. But if you're not, you have to write it in English or they won't accept you. After you recieve your account, you can e-mail them about changing your name.

SOMEHOW... i managed to send my ID to cyworld on a different email than the one i registered with
they emailed this to me:

문의하신 외국인 가입에 대해 답변드리겠습니다.

회원님의 회신 이메일 주소를 토대로 조회해 본 결과,
[ emailherelalala ]은 싸이월드에 가입되지 않은 것으로
확인되어 승인을 해드릴 수 없었습니다.

외국인 회원은 주민등록번호를 입력하지 않고 가입하기 때문에
반드시 가입 이메일 주소를 기재해 주셔야 합니다.

가입 이메일 주소를 기재하고 신분증을 첨부하여
다시 한번 보내주시면 확인 후 도움을 드리겠습니다.

did anyone manage to register for cyworld? I've been trying but doesnt work..

also i think they remove the options..its not the same as the tutorial given..i see that the Foreigner(other countries) is missing. there should be four options but we only get to see 3, Normal, Foreigner(in korea) and Business.
