1. Can i ask something really stupid? Do you have to be korean to get a cyworld? I'm not even asian so im afraid they won't accept my request because of that.
2. Would a greencard do for indentification?

1. no, you don't have to be korean or asian XD
i'm not asian either ^^

2. if your greencard has the name you register with, your birthday, and a photo of you then it will work
you can also use a passport: scan it to your computer, go to paint and black out all of the information so only your name, picture, and date of birth shows ^^
that way ur personal data will be safe XD
just make sure to email them ur ID right after u register, because if they dont get it w/in 7 days ur account is automatically deleted..i learned the hard
way...had to try 3x XD

3. if i remember, i think that u had to be 14 or older (correct me if i'm wrong), but i'm not sure
u can still try and see if u get accepted or not ^^

u can ask me if you have more questions too; i can read korean and understand a little bit so i can try to help out

p.s. if ur having trouble understanding what they're saying, you could try to copy and paste to google translator to get a gist of what its saying; although the grammar is way off for google..

p.s.s. if ur having trouble sending in any info, go to INTERNET EXPLORER, firefox...doesnt work too well for cyworld

Well i registered yesterday and sent them a copy of my green card because it's the only thing i have with my picture on it and they sent me this back:


They didn't accept it, right? but why? It has my full name, picture, and birthday? Would blurring out my face and card number have anything to do with it?

I don't know what happen before but it's said that you didn't tell them exactly what change that they should made.. I think you ask them to change your name but you didn't tell them into what..

So what I want to know is, if I click the English, does that mean I'm making a U.S cyworld or a Korean one? Because when I noticed that a U.S cyworld looks totally different from a Korean/Chinese, etc one. The way everything is set up and such, it's different.

So...do I click the button that says English?

you're still signing up for korean cyworld XD
it just goes to foreigner, so u dont have to enter that korean id #

under 미니홈피괸리, click on 홈설정, and chek the box with 사진형 ^^
