I guess you are talking about a diary where only the two of you can read each another's posts, right?
If that is the case, I think I know how to do it. I have a secret one that I have been using with my online buddy.
I will totally ask him for you, but the thing is, he isn't around since he is in the military right now.
However, here is how I think you make a secret diary:

1. Go to your "diary".
2. On the left hand column, you should see "우리다이어리" - click on the gray button next to it.
3. I think the left buton with two "people" means sharing it with one person, while the other one is a group of people (not sure).
4. If you click on the left hand button, you can name your diary in the first blank space.
5. Then you can choose the person you want to share it with from the list.
6. The last box lets you write a message to them.
7. When you are done, click the button to the left (not the one with the red x).

I hope this is how you do it. Anyone who knows how to do it can correct me =)

Yes, it seems your ID doesn't have your date of birth. You must send them something that has your date of birth and name. Do you have driving license? You could try it.
And it also says something about your e-mail. Did you send the photo with the same e-mail you used to register on cyworld? It says something that the e-mail is wrong.

It says they only got "???" instead of hangeul. Try using different e-mail^^ but I think you will have to change your login e-mail first.

When did you send them an e-mail with an attachment of your ID?

It takes awhile for them to respond. Mines took less than twelve hours to be activated, but it usually takes a day or even a week for others.

You will just have to wait. They will eventually send you an e-mail back about whether you account is activated or not =)

As long as your ID shows your birth date and your full name, I think it should work (at least from what I remember).

In order to buy music, you have to click on one of the bold black letters on the very top of the homepage.

I would totally type it out, but I am too lazy to bring up my screen shot of the Korean keyboard.

Anyway, if you hover over the sixth link (fourth to the right), it should change to "BGM". I hope this helps you!

In order to change your name, you must use your own e-mail to e-mail them. If you have an official Korean name with proof, they will change it.

If you don't have a Korean name (or at least some ID proof of it), they will use your English first and last name to translate it.

Here is the format you should use to change your name. I don't own any of it because I am copying the format found on other pages in this thread.

Message: 제 이름 - (your name now) - 이 너무 길어서 이름만 ID로 하고 싶습니다. 그냥 - (the name you want to change to) -으로 바꿔주세요. 신분증 사본 동봉합니다.

Do remember that if you want to change your name to Korean, you can leave out your last name =)

You must attach your ID to verify that you are not some hacker or something. If you have a Korean name, I suggest sending two IDs.

In other words, the one you used to sign up for Cyworld, and the one that shows your Korean name (that is, if you have one).

I have been told that there is an English version of the form now. Perhaps you can try registering there?

Your name does not have to be in Hangul. You cannot make up a name because it will not match your ID.

IDs can be in English, as long as it shows your full name and date of birth. If you want to switch your name to Hangul..

You will have to register for an account first and then e-mail them about it. You will have to provide them with the Hangul's romanization of your name.

Impatient =P

They should get back to you as long as you filled out everything correctly and you sent in your ID.

I think the longest it can take is about two weeks or so. But it is usually a week for most people ^^

yes,there's already an english version for foreigners to sign up..
but for me i still prefer the korean version coz in english version i always get an error message like "Data error! Please correct the information" even if i entered my information correctly..
So i tried to use the korean version since i can read and understand some korean and know what,, i did get my korean cyworld in no time,in that same day too..
so i'm suggesting that if u can't sign up on english version,,try the korean version..it's easier to sign up there~well,that's if u can read korean..

Is there a way to change your name that you first registered with to something else?

I tried doing it from the account settings page, but it doesn't give me the option to edit it. Does that mean it's not possible? T_T (And I apologize ahead of time if this question has already been answered ^^;;)
