So its when I'm signing up for cyworld.. I have all the information filled out, and then when I click the link at the bottom of the page it says
"data error! please, type the correct information"
at the phone number part... but when I put numbers in there ... IDK it just won't let me submit even when I have numbers in the boxes.
So what do I need to do at the phone number part? You'd think I would know.. but apparently *sigh*
I hope I make sense here.
Thanks to the person who answers my question!

And be sure to use internet explorer while signing up to ensure things load right.

If you click the link under the giant orange button, the minihompy will open up.
i tried but it brought me to a page that had pictures of firefox which i assume they were trying to tell users how to configure it to be able to use cyworld.
i guess it's because i'm using safari. but thanks for your help anyway!

I don't know about Safari though. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to *view* them. :/

is it possible for people without Cyworld to comment on your pictures etc?
If so, where can I turn that option on from?
Thanks in advance!
They can only comment in your visitor room.
If they try to comment on one of your photos, a pop up comes and tells them
they need to log in to be able to comment.
ohh you can comment on others photos if the owner of the hompy allows it even if you don't have your own hompy..
like for example,,me i allowed others(non cyworld members) to comments on my photos..
Go try it yourself,,go to my hompy and try commenting on my photos
i used my yahoo email account && mozilla firefox to register on cyworld..
do you think i should re-try again?
If a week had been passed, then you should try to register again and send your ID..
Btw where did u sign up,,the english or the korean version??
I'm suggesting u register on the korean version coz it'll be easier,i mean faster..

kriszanne posted a better tutorial a few posts down:
http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?sho...&p=11442030
1. Go to your Settings tab.
2.

* 제한없음 = no restrictions / 회원만 = only members
3. Hit 확인 (save) and that should do it.
The other option listed there is for photo comments.
Mine is limited to friends only, but you can change that
so any registered member can leave photo comments.
Here's what you get under your photos once it's changed.
Your friends / guests can leave comments on any of your photos in this manner.

1. Go to your Favorites tab.
2.

You can just do that for all the folders unless all of your favourites are in the default one.

(so others can comment on your photos even if they don't have korean cy)
1. Click "Menu"
2. Choose restrictions then click "ok" (see the image below for reference)
3. Click folder manager (it will redirect to a new tab/page)

4. Click a folder u want to edit/restrict
5. Then choose restrictions (see the image below for reference)

You can also choose an "open folder" so they can upload photos to your certain folder..
You can also restrict the people who can write/upload photos on your "open folder"
See the image above for further instructions..
PS..
sorry i'm not really good at giving instructions

i guess it's been too long since i register and still i haven't received any mail.
anyway, i'll try to register again.
but, just another question,
should i make a new yahoo account? and where, i mean, the korean one or the regular(english) one?
thanks.
