that says that you have to send in your identification stuff
passport drivers license ID that stuff

but i'm new to the korean cyworld too so i thought we didn't have to send that stuff if but i guess we do?

you just have to send them some sort of identification whether its a passport, drivers license, or alien card. not all of them just one!

This is my first question in this thread, so I'm not sure if it's been asked before, but:

Is there any way to set off or delete your cyworld blog?

I don't really want to delete my blog, but that little tab on my minihompy that says "내 블로그로 놀러와" (come visit my blog) bothers me so much.
As long as I can get that little tab to be off my hompy, I wouldn't have to worry as much. I've checked everywhere and couldn't find a solution.

So is there any way to get that little tab off, delete, or set aside my blog for later use?

I'm pretty sure you can use your passport for proof of your name.
I used my school ID card (and also my Social Security card just in case) and they accepted that (:

okay soompiers..i have a big big problem n i wanna smack myself for it but...i totally dont remember my log in ID and password! i cant remember the email i used to register with. the only thing i remember is my cy link and its http://cyworld.com/tirah


please help!!?!!?!?! what should i do in a case like this? i tried making a new account and i sent in my drivers license but they still didnt approve me. its been a month already and i tried again with a different email but still no luck. could it be because i sent in the same drivers license so they think im an imposter or something? if i could retrieve the log in name and pw that would be so great!

Here's the gist of what has been happening: I have an online friend who bothers all my friends! If I haven't added a new friend on my list, she automatically writes on their wall and tries to be friends with them. Or even if my friend is on my list and their message is private, she visits my photo album and visits everyone she sees there. She probably thinks that I have no clue what is going on, but I see her messages to all my friends on their walls. There has been several times when friends of mines will ask me who the hell she is to start bugging them out of nowhere. After all, she is the type of person who will talk to you and reply back to you when her visitors count is low. In other words, she tries to be friends with anyone in order to gain popularity on Cyworld. But little does she knows that she actually annoys people. I am not extremely popular on Cyworld, but I do get a lot of visitors who actually write to me. So whenever she's online, she's constantly checking for new people.

Anyway, the question I want to ask is if there is a way to block a certain person from having certain access to different parts of my page? I don't really mind it if she sees my visitor's wall because I am usually online everyday and when I log in, I make the messages automatic. However, I will be going on summer vacation and I want to lock my wall and photo album away from her. Knowing her, she might write on my visitors wall when I'm on vacation and say something like, "Tiffany wants you to keep all your messages open" T.T It's seriously pissing me off because it feels like she is trying to get to know everyone I know and some of my friends find it annoying, too.

You're using the Korean cyworld, right? I'm not familiar with the American one, but umm...

If she's getting a hold of the people on your 방명록(Visitors tab), ask your friends to set their comment as Hidden. Or set it up that all your comments are hidden.
And if she's looking through your friends that are commenting throughout your hompi, set it so that anything you post is only viewable by your friends. (is she on your friends list?)

I'm not sure if you can block anyone, but you can report her and I'm sure Cyworld will do something about it.

Thank-you so much for your advices ~ I am thinking of deleting her off my list.. That is, if she won't notice what I have done.
But if she keeps on doing it, I will have to resort to that. If I do it, I'm just going to say that I was deleting some people and..
I "accidentally" deleted her or something. My visitors thing on my main page is hidden, so she won't notice easily (Korean Cyworld).

Ah ~ My visitors tab automatically locks my friend's messages. But sometimes I talk to people for awhile before adding them ^^
