Helloo everyone first of all, I'd like to thank you guys for the tutorials, FaQs and guides. What a tremendous help it have been!

But I'm having a problem and wondering if can you guys please please help me with it? I registered, followed all the steps in tutorial and today I got a reply from them and this is what it says:




I'm pretty sure its telling me that my name on my ID doesn't match. (Correct me if I'm wrong) So if that is the case, how do i go about changing my name so it matches my ID? Like where do I go to do that and how? I hope someine can please help me with this I'm about to pull my hair out.

At first, I was also unsure about the safety thing..
but it is safe. (in my opinion anyway )
the people who approve you are the only ones that see your student ID...
i mean if it wasn't safe, why would there be 23589304854 (bad estimate LOL) people on it??

yeah.. it says the name isn't right/doesn't match. did you put your nickname or something??
maybe you could email cyhelp (or whatever their email is) and explain to them?

Another silly question, what should I write to them ,it is really weird that they want you to change/fix your name so it matches the ID given, but they do not really tell you how to or where to in the email itself.

Plus do I have to send them an email in Korean cause I don't speak Korean lol? What do I say in it? Whoa so many questions. Apologies. Is there any way to fix this situation ? It'd be nice if someone can direct me to the right place for that. Thanks a million!

Uhhhhh... Maybe in Korean? (just tell them you don't speak it well) Idk, I never tried to email them in English...
Well if you used your nickname, you could just say you wanted to use that instead of your full first name (and give them that)..
& if you didn't put your middle name, you could tell them that you didn't wanna use that either (and give them that too) ..
OMGGG idk, maybe you could start over? O_O

I did everything like the Tutorial said, but when it comes to approval e-mail, I always got this:



What does that mean?
I think they didn't approve me. But, I need to make it clear whether this e-mail said that I got approved by them or not.

If it means for sure that I'm still not approved yet, I think I must give up. This is the third time I tried to sign up for a Cyworld account.

As for me OH GOD i feel strangling something! Lol.. Ok so I took Serenity's advice and start over.. But dun dun dun! One more problem. I'm Malaysian and I have a super duper long name well most Malaysian does. >.< And When I try to type in my name as IT IS in my passport, it wont let me... I cant type anymore.. its like limited to a number of letter. Which is why yesterday I only typed in my First and Last name without the middle one.



And when I tried puting my full name on the second "Name" thing.. it won't let me go through, saying something like I can't have a blank in name?




Am I destined to not have cyworld? Am I doomed to that fate just because of my long name? Feel like crying.. honestly.. ahh!
So is there anyone else out there who have super duper long name that is able to sign up? =[

You experienced exactly the same problem as I did. serenityx3 has helped u, right? Just do exactly like she said and I'm sure you'll get success. She helped me go through this problem.

they told me that they couldn't find my "driver's license" (well, I sent my passport!!!)
and they want me to send them again my ID by Fax, and give them my fax number also, and they'll settle the matter quickly....

Yes you still need to email them your ID. They will send you an email telling you where you need to email the ID to. =]
