So, after you go to http://www.cyworld.nate.com/, you have to follow these instructions if you don't know how to sign up (this is overseas registrating only).



Step 3: Click the "I Agree" button.


Step 4: Fill in information about yourself (Part 1)


Step 5: Fill in information about yourself (Part 2)


Step 6: Indicate your country (Part 1)




Then, you're done! =)

FAQ:

Q: Can I write comments without my own Cyworld?
A: Yes, you can. Although if you have a Cyworld you can do 1촌 and if the other accepts, you can have access to their whole Cyworld.

Q: What identification must I send?
A: From what I've heard, you can use your Driver's Liscense, Passport, or Student ID to confirm your identification. I've never tried this, but I've heard from a friend that you can blank out really private information such as your home phone number.

Q: Help! I don't have a scanner!
A: Umm, really. You don't need a scanner. If you have a digital camera, take a picture with it and upload it to your computer. Easy as that.

Q: How come I can't log in anymore!?
A: If it's been more than a week since you've registered and you didn't send in your identification, your account is automatically deleted.

Q: Is it possible to track the visitors who went to our cy? (Whether it's IP, cyworld name, etc.)
A: No, there are no more tracking functions other than the number of who visited, and the total number.

Hello, i'm also having trouble getting the authentification number.
I typed my cell number as "65-9754-9947" in the blanks and they had a pop-up that said that the certification number has been sent. But I didn't recieve any call. =( [probably another person has been receiving these calls. Hahaha.]
oh, I'm residing in Singapore by the way, how do I put in the numbers then?? Thanks so much for the help!

I got to the final page where they ask you to send stuff can anyone describe this step in more detail, also when signing up I didn't put my complete name could this be a problem? now that I am on this step?

I feel stupid I not only abbreviated my name but also put the wrong birthday by 2 years should I try anyways?


OR if I don't send them anything will I be able to make a new account in 7 days with same username but put the actual info?

Don't enter your country code again. Remember to choose country in the box above then in the 3 boxes for telephone number, enter it this way, 9-754-9947. You will get a call immediately. Remember to standby this page http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?sho...&p=15284116 for the numeric translation as the phone call and authentication number are in Korean. Listen carefully as 1 and 2 sounds very similar.

Follow the registration steps on page 216 of this forum and up to point 11, remember to put in the country, then in the boxes for your phone number, first box is for area code, then simply split your phone/cell phone number into 2 parts for the second and third box.

To what I know, you definitely have to send them a copy of some form of identification like identity card, driver'e licence so that they will process your registration. As for all the correction you want to make or want to clarify, you have to write to their helpdesk (help_desk@nate.com). I think you have to include your signing up email add and name.

I think the email mentioned that they checked the name on your driver's licence and said the name on the ID and your name used for account registration does not match, so they cannot approve your registration.

They require you to identify yourself (registering name and name on ID must match), include the ID and a valid email address.

They give you up to 7 days to response.

That's about it.
That's all I can understand from the translation.

I'm on Windows 7 and I'm trying to play music. It told me to download the music player. The problem is that it gets stuck at 756117/756117, and doesn't go farther than that. Can someone help? I pretty much installed Windows (I'm on a Macbook Pro) just for this. =/

Or also, does anyone know where I can get a direct installer for the Cyworld music player?
