I have a yellowish spot on the white of my left eye for as long as I can remember but I noticed today that it looks bigger than it used to be a few years back. Is there a name for it, and can it go away? I hope it's not dangerous or anything.

if the white part of your eye(s) is noticeably yellow, that means there's something wrong w/ your liver.

you should see a doctor

Yeah, just ask a doctor. My friend has a yellow patch on his right eye but that's because his brother poked him excessively hard with something sharp when he was a kid or something like that.
Know if you've ever had any eye injuries? Anyways, if it's getting bigger, get it checked out

That's what I got when I searched it on google.
I'm not sure if that's what you have, though.

WOW. If it's this then you should start wearing shades whenever you go out in the sun.

rofl ok is it lumpy or flat? and is it able to be moved? if its flat and mobile nd brown it could be normal melanosis of the eye, but a change in size isnt good, so you better get it checked out. if its like...gelatinous and raised and kind of 'points' towards the middle of your eye....could be a pterygium, or a pingueculum if it 'points' away from the centre of the eye. get yourself checked.

lol i have a brown spot on my eye.
but that was because when i was little and helping my little brother shower,
he hit me with a cup really hard.
(he was a fat baby)
but its safer to get it checked up by a doctor, i know i'm fine haha

I have a light brown mark on the white part of my right eye. I think I remember someone (maybe my doctor) saying that it's an eye birthmark (Iris Nevus, I think it's called). I don't know about yellow marks though...Just to be safe, you should definitely ask your doctor.
