Basically, I moved from georgia to los angeles, ca. I'm trying to get my vehicle registered here, but along my trip to california, my car got broken into, and for whatever godforsaken reason many things including documents were stolen. So... basically, i don't have my title or my vehicle registration from georgia. The only thing i could find was a georgia motor vehicle registration that expired last year in 2007, so i'm not sure if that's even valid enough proof that i own the vehicle outright. Even more unfortunate is that my birthday is this month, so my tag will expire by the end of this month. I need to get my tags straightened out to a california plate, but is that even possible given my situation. I do have a california driver license though.
Uh... any suggestions. I really do need to be driving that car.

Hmmm... I don't think you'll get many responses about this, but for the time being I think you should call or go to the DMV as soon as you have time. They should have your answer if you need to get this resolved immediately.
BTW welcome to Cali. Sorry about your break in. I had a similar incident a few months ago as well.
