I Totaled My Car Today ):

i totaled my tl on the freeway today. i was on the far left lane and a car came into the side of me and i lost complete control of the steering wheel. i ended up spinning and hitting the center divider head first and somehow spinning back across to the other side of the freeway. the front of my car is smashed in. no more headlights, bumper, radiator came out, and i don't know about the engine i couldn't see but it probably got pushed back.

so scary

thank goodness for seat belts and airbags. i'm doing okay though. only one bruise and one cut. hopefully i'm not too sore when i wake up.

make sure you get all your insurance paperwork taken care of asap!!!

glad that you are ok. cars are replaceable, that's what insurance is for! good to know you were in a safe car and that someone was watching over you. we all have alot to be thankful for. =)

Sorry to hear.

Good thing you're alright, Acura does make their cars pretty sturdy. My moms got into at least 4 fender benders and 2 pretty serious accidents (airbags gone off) with her RL and its perfectly fine!

+1 for getting the insurance work done.

the airbag was really small. it only covered the steering wheel and it didn't come out very far. is this how airbags normally are? the airbag didn't come in contact with my face because it was too low it only came up to my chest. i felt find yesterday, but i'm starting to feel the whiplash especially on the left side of my neck and back. i also have little red spots and am slightly bruised on the left side of my chest and shoulder.. possibly from the seatbelt?

and my car is over an hour away from my house at the yard waiting for the adjuster because i only got 7 miles from the tow truck ): so sorry no pictures.

It's from the seatbelt locking up. Everyone feels fine the first day after the accident. My back started to ache the 2nd day after my accident.

Whiplash is a... yeah it sucks. Take care of your neck and back. Go to a therapist because the effects of whiplash can last a very long time and it is very bothersome.

yea whiplash is a b1tch...my niece, me and cousin got into this MAJOR wreck one time on a bridge, flipped twice... and spun around[on the crescent city connection..which is the bridge over the mississippi river]...lucky for me that was one of the rare times i wear a seatbelt in the back! this happened like 6year ago tho. haha x] its a pain and my niece had it bad though, it was like a whole big ass line u can see @__@
