Explain from your experiences.

I don't think 10 pounds makes a difference...when I went from 130 to 120, I still looked the same IMO =/ Well...it made a slight difference. But not much of a difference. What about you guys?

i dunno. i just voted so-so. i can feel the difference in my clothes but it was such a gradual process i kind of didn't notice it happening. i look a little different. well i've lost like 15 lbs now. i don't know how much more i'm going to lose, i'll just stop when i think i'm small enough.

people definitely noticed when i lost around 10 lbs.
i just think it depends where on the scale the 10 lbs you're losing is.
140 to 130 may not be as big of a difference as 110 to 100.

10 lbs can make a world of difference. here's a before/after picture comparing me in mid-may to beginning of july. keep in mind i GAINED 10 lbs from 153 to 163. remember though, that's it's not just about the difference in weight, but also the difference in body fat too, that affects your appearances. 10 lbs on a girl can be pretty significant, especially if you're not particularly tall.

haha good job Bruce!

yes, depends though. 10lbs of weight loss, or 10lbs of fat loss. it makes a HUGE difference if it's 10lbs of fat.

In general, I think it has to do with where those 10 pounds go.
It can be muscle, or it can be fat. So.... I don't know.
I chose "Not sure" and "N/A - Did not choose yes".

Well when the weight is lost gradually, you get used to the way you look now. This means that you don't really feel like there was a change because you're kind of used to the way your body looks now. If you compare a before and after picture, you might see a bigger difference there.

It's kind of like how I thought my friends never changed in appearance... but when I looked at their pictures from like just a year ago, I go, "WOW so they have changed!"

I think it depens on where the weight is distributed. As long as it's porportional, I think it'd be fine.

I think 10 LBS makes a difference.
esp. for me, cause i am not particularly tall ;__;
but I agree with vintageballad its where it goes
and if you put on 10 pounds of fat versus muscle.
also, I think it has to do with your body type too,
like for example, my weight goes to my stomach/face
and therefore 10 pounds of fat is quite noticeable

It really depends on the person and if you lost fat. For me, 10 lbs make a bit of a difference. You can even tell whether I gained/lose even just 5 lbs, or at least my family members and friends does. For others, 10, even 15 lbs will look the same. It's all about how the weight is distributed I guess.

It depends how big you are.

I was 108 then I became 98. A lot of people were telling me how thin I got and how weak I looked. .__. That was when I was anorexic, anyway, now I'm 112. I'm 5'3, btw.

For me, it made a big difference.

It depends on your height and muscle/fat. But generally, I think for the average person, it makes a difference. Obviously 10lbs on an obese person would not look like a huge difference.

Yes It really does make a big difference taking in that an average person trying to lose 10lbs in a healthy way takes around a month to a month and 1/2. 10 lbs knocks you down like 2-3 dress sizes

Yep.

110 to 100 made me lose most of my flab ^ o ^
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.
