I've installed the webcam's driver cd and it said it said it is ready for use, but when I try to make a video call on MSN, it said it's not connected. =(

I have deleted, uninstalled, then re-installed again--then nothing. It won't connect even though I've installed the program already. If you're wondering what webcam I'm using, it's RocketFish

http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/pc-35-3-...web-camera.aspx

and I am using windows XP. What can I do to make it work? >__< It worked before...but I don't know why it isn't right now. I checked the Device Manager, and it said it is enabled, but still...no luck sigh

EDIT:
It still doesn't work...but I like to thank you for those who read and posted. happy.gif If anyone have a solution, this topic will always be open.

The webcam setting? I opened that, but it said the device is not connected. And yes, it would usually detect a webcam, but again, it said it didn't find any device although I've plugged it in to the USB port.

so does the webcam itself have a program that you can use to separately record something.
you have to know if the webcam even works on its own, let alone with msn now

like i mean. have you tried recording anything with that program of yours

No, the cam can't work on its own. It needs the program[disk drive] in order to work. It's useless without it. = =
