The 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX got quite a number of upgrades comparing to the 2008 Impreza WRX. One of it will be the retuned 2.5-liter boxer four-pot producing 265 hp and 244 lb.-ft. of torque – a 41 hp and 18 lb.-ft. increase over the outgoing model. Other upgrades include stiffer springs, uprated dampers, upper strut mounts cribbed from the STI and larger anti-roll bars fore and aft.


What do you think of black Impreza? Is it better looking than the legendary blue one?

looks like the 08's but they have more hp.. xD the GT's look like the 2.5I's but they're not wrx's. but if ppl don't want turbo they won't get the wrx =P

I'm still not used to this look at ALL. I think they're ugly imo.. they don't look so agressive anymore like their did.. my ex drives an 07 STi and it's sickkk.. haha.. her's is still stockk..

It's a nice little car. Only thing it needs is a better shifting feel or a short shifter. The hp increase was bound to happen. 224 hp is NOT enough.
