Basically as the title stated, I face these issues on a daily basis, for example, washed my car, only to get water spots the next day when I was driving home and this just mass pool of water splashed all over my car, being the lazy person I am I left it be, until like a week later it formed water spots....hideous hideous waters spots that would NOT come off no matter how much I tried to wipe it off with soap and whatnots.
So I did a little searching and found out that if you fill a spray bottle with half diluted white vinegar and half water and spray it onto your car, wipe off with a nice soft clothe, water spots remove, only thing is might take away your wax job, my car is still shiny though..... sweatingbullets.gif

Next.
DENTS DENTS DENTS
okay so I left my brother drive my car, he payed me back by leaving me a nice dent on the passenger side door, who knows if it's his sugar mama is too retarded to open a door properly or w/e but I was mad.
got a tip from papasmurf of soompi that dry ice removes dents
yes dry ice
not huge head size dents but perhaps quarter size

for more info click on this video link
shows you the whole process

To reduce water spots... After a car wash, take the nozzle off the hose and run water over the entire car. This will allow the water to "sheet" off your car.

Example:

Clean off the rest with "The Absorber" or Jelly blade.

For dents, this method also works..sometimes (dent must be 3 inches or bigger) :

Spray the dent with a hairdryer for 30 seconds to one minute.

Take a can of compressed air, turn it upside down (which will spray liquid CO2, around -110 degrees F). Spray the dent for 10 seconds, and hopefully within the next minute, it will pop out.

Dry ice is usually more effective, however, a hairdryer and compressed air is usually 2 things readily found at home.

*edit: oh yea, never use Armor all ANYTHING. Horrible line of products.

Hey Guys,

What about door dings?
Someone must've swung their door car too far and dinged my passenger side door.
It's only minor, but it looks like their paint scratched off and mine is ok b/c there are little white marks visible while my car is blue.
Got ANY tips?

I heard someone say that rubbing alcohol would do the trick, but I want to double check first. wink.gif

You have to be 18 to buy dry ice? LOL I never knew there was an age restriction on it.

I heard that if you pour coke or something like that on your tire rims (I don't know about tricked out rims or anything. Just the regular ones you get with a regular carrrr) , just wait a little bit and then wipe it clean.

Might want to double check on that, but I just remember hearing that some where before.
The acid or whatever from coke helps get rid of the rust and dirty stuff on your rims.

LOL well I hope I'm right. sweatingbullets.gif

I've never tried coke on rims but I've tried it on battery terminals/connections.

When we bought my sisters camry, we needed to switch out the battery and there was a lot of battery acid or some white stuff around the connections, so i told my dad to pour coke on it but he said it wont work etc. After awhile i brought it out and he poured it and the coke just ate it all away haha. it looks really clean now.

don't use coke on paint, it will ruin the paint.

for water spots, claying usually gets rid of them for me. I wash the car, dry, and then clay and theres no water spots etc.

when I had some paint abrasions, i got a sink sponge , poured alcohol and gently rubbed it out. then got a towel, applied toothpaste and buffed.

worked well.
