Hello everyone, I was wondering if you guys knew any professional music making softwares. I heard about Cubase and Reason, but are there anything else?

What about Apple's Logic and Garage band?

I dug around the internet but i'm still confused on all the pros and cons of each. perhaps users can tell me whats good and bad.

Logic, usually for the mac is the best one you can buy.
But if you're just starting music development, I would go for something simpler.
Like CuBase, or GarageBand?
