People who smoke cigarettes/ pot i have nothing against, as long as they have the respect not to pass it on or offer it to me...I have a close friend who smokes pot, only because its for her stomach conditions.

I would personally not date a guy who smokes cigarettes, but if he has a great personality and i guess we click i'll make a sacrifice and try to suck it up. Just hope he doesn't kiss me after he had just smoked.

I would think most ppl would say it is a TURN OFF.

But honestly, if you liked a guy and he smoked yet you two really get along I don't think that him smoking would be the factor that would make you go "NO, I won't go out with you." You know what I mean? It's like we can all sit here and say that it turns us off and that we wouldn't date a guy who smokes but in reality it's not that simple.

So if my bf smoked I would be okay with it as long as he is polite about it (goes outside to smoke, makes sure to be careful where he is blowing the smoke). Obviously I would like him to stop since it is bad for his health and the health of ppl around him but it wouldn't stop me from dating him.

Stuff like doing hard drugs are a definite turn off and a no to dating though.

what do you think about dating people who smoke or do drugs??

and if im dating a druggie then i guess as long as theyre not addicted to it or u know give up eveything they have just for drugs then its no prob

Though, I've never done drugs myself, I honestly don't have a problem with it unless it's done to an extreme.

It's a turn off. It's a bigger turn off if the person didn't do drugs before but started after you two started dating. It's even worse if the person doing drugs let it affect the relationship in the long run. For instance, some people let drugs control their life- they do stupid things, not care about anything else but drugs, etc. In conclusion, I'd rather not be with someone who smoke or do drugs.

The action of smoking is a total turn on.
Now of course there's the smell and it kills you blablabla...

I prefer social smokers and drinkers and druggies(?), you get the point, right?
So basically it's more of a turn off if a guy has never tried any of that.
I'd see that as more of a problem. Weird? Maybe.

But in the end, it all comes down to who the guy is.
Whether he smokes/does drugs or doesn't do either, does not define him or stop me or attract me to him.
There are more important things to consider.

Smoking & drugs are a BIG turn off for me because for one, i hate being around smokers; I can't stand the smell of the smokes and for two, well, i just dont like being around those people. I honestly would never date a guy who do those craps.

A few of my friends smoke, one time I went over to play poker and all of them smoked around me. The next day I felt like throwing up the entire time. I can't even stand my friends doing it. Turn off. Not even turn off, health off. Unable to exist beside off. Don't physically want to be with off.

When I was with my ex, I was fine with it at first... but then he got more and more addicted to pot.
He would "forget" about spending time with me/calling me, etc...
After we broke up, he got someone pregnant while he was high.
Yuck. Now, he does more serious drugs... -.-"
