i dont really like smokers, but my bf while we were dating i never knew he smoked and he told me and i didnt believe him as he never smelt like cigs, but i completely look past that he does, i love him more, and wont let the fact he smokes get too much in the way as he can cut back, he smokes about 6 a day, im gonna make him reduce it~ for his own health and mine ^^

drugs are a big no no~~ turn off.

Depends on the time moment you two know each other
if its before you two dated. then you cant blame him...because its well..fate that you met him/her after they did it.
and if its after you two dated, then you have to talk to him and ask why he's doing this and
make sure you tell him/her how you feel about this.
if tehy dont care means they dont love/care about you
so whats the point of being with them when they dont listen to you !

If I really liked the guy, I wouldn't dictate him on how to live his life and to stop smoking. It's his choice if he chooses to smoke and if I have a problem with it, I'd ask him to not to smoke around me.

Drugs is another thing though cause that's illegal... so that I would badger him about.

I am allergic to cigarette smoke, I have a hard time breathing when smelling it, so smoking is a definite turn off for me. The one I'm with, when we were just friends, he was a smoker and whenever he had the urge to smoke I would kind of move away from him. So, he knew I hated cigarette smoke and eventually did stop for my sake (we were still friends then - very sweet of him that he did). As for drugs, the more I would not consider dating someone who did.

I don't mind smoking cigarettes as long as it's not like an addiction, but more of a once in a while thing or something like that. Drugs are a big no-no though.

I used to be a chain smoker, and it used to be like a requirement that my future boyfriend smoked too. But then I met my current boyfriend who's extremely against smoking. He did accept me even though I smoked, but I quit nevertheless.

And now I can't stand the smell of smoke (my parents smoke)! It's horrible. Guys who smoke are now a huge turn-off, they'd smell like smoke, plus it's unhealthy. I don't want second hand smoke in my lungs! O_O And I don't want to get sick or anything, I'd rather be healthy and smoke-free.

As for drugs, NO WAY.

I love smoking cigarettes, but I've never dated a smoker myself. Both of my parents smoke, so it's close to the same thing.
My boyfriend hates that I smoke. I quit for a little while because it's just so expensive, but lately we've made a deal where he allows me to smoke again since he constantly wants to go to fighting game meetings XD Compromise!
Quitting was never hard for me. It's now been about four days since my last cigarette and I'm not craving one at all, I just really like how they smell/taste, so I wish I COULD have one :[

Anyone else ever quit, but not have a problem doing so? I actually know a lot of people that didn't have much of a problem quitting. I smoked for over two years, too. I thought it was supposed to be super hard to quit?

definitely no to smoker because i can't stand the smell of it. whenever i'm around smoker it is so hard to breath. My mom took me to the casino once and i was about to die in there so i swear in this lifetime i'll never marry anyone who is a smoke.

Drinking? I've had a few drinks casually, if my boyfriend or whoever drank casually, I also wouldn't mind. If they were an alcoholic, that's a whole different story...

I think aslong as they are responsible about it, and it's not hard drugs, it's fine. I would not approve of
