So I have an extra LCD monitor in my room, and I thought I would try and replace my huge tube TV and use my monitor as a TV. I've been getting alot of help from people , but it's just been confusing me even more. Things about using a VCR as a tuner, ect ... I'm so lost. x_x Any help, information would be really useful. Thanks!

Either your monitor should have a tuner or your computer should have a TV tuner.
I prefer the monitor/TV having a cox input so I wouldn't need to start up my computer everytime I want to watch TV.
What's your price range? We can help you out.
Or... you can get a normal TV with PC inputs such as RGB or DVI.

older LCD monitors usually do not have composite/component/hdmi inputs.
most of them have a vga or dvi.
if you have a cable box or a box from directv that can output dvi, that would be ideal.
