That's pretty much it. You pop the game in the play station portable and it just won't read or something.
It won't even pop up as an option to select on the "desk top" as it were. Has anyone ever had this problem
and what advice can you share?

PS: UMD movies and music, and pretty much everything else work but the games.

If you're pirating games with the memory stick, you need a UMD in the back. A sampler disk works too.

You need a GAME UMD, not movie UMD.

is this a problem that happened out of nowhere or has it been this way since you first tried a game in your psp?

if it's the first time and you try different games but it doesn't work... you wouldn't happen to have the japanese ver. psp would you? cause if you have the japanese psp umds and what not works but games do not if i remember correctly.
