that 3 people are illegally using our (mine and brothers) internet connection.
how do we put a password on our computers to keep them from accessing our connection???
we have dsl by the way, if that helps

dude thats happening to me too and when i search for wireless internet around our area i can see that other people locked their internet. I wanna find out how too

find how what ur brand your router is then find how what ip address you have to type in in order to go to your router.
just try 192.168.0.1 type that into your browser.
and the user is prolly admin and pass is password.
once you get in your can set up your wireless with a password

start > run.. > type "cmd" without caps, hit enter > type "ipconfig" without caps, hit enter > check the default gateway.. it should be something like 192.168.x.x
type those numbers into ie or firefox. should ask for username and password, it's different from each router, if you have a linksys it'll be admin//admin
then there should be a section for wireless, then wireless security. use WEP 64bit, it's simple and unless your neighbors are really smart they won't hack it. the password must be 10 digits using 0-9 and A-F, I usually use my phone number including area code (easy to memorize)
