I have been a silent reader for a while now and this is my 1st post here. This is going to be long so hope I won’t make people sleepy reading this. (That is if anyone does read this). I’ve known soompi long time ago but just came here often only recently. Have to get my daily dose of Dong Bang news or life won’t be complete, he he. I read in a few post back how people discover Dong Bang boys (or should I say guys now?)
Sad to say I am one of those who don’t even bother to look at them twice when I 1st heard about them. I know they kinda big then but one quick look at their face I assumed that they are yet another pretty boy group with no talent, and I’m not into KPop that much then. The least I listen to is OST Song.
They came to Malaysia for a concert in 2006 and their face keep on popping on tv and I wonder what the fuss is all about with this group. So I got curious and started to look for them on the internet. The first clip I download on them is Miduhyo, and I don’t even listen to it until after like months later. Then My Destiny keeps coming out on TV and I got confused. I mean aren’t they Korean, then why are they singing Japanese song and sounded so good too? So I downloaded some more song but ended up not listening to them still. I’m the type who downloads stuff and forgetting that I did.
The first thing that I bought which is related to them is Heart Mind and Soul Concert DVD. And I bought it just out of curiosity. I am not the type who just bought CD or DVD and I don’t even know why I buy it in the 1st place. I just feel like buying it when I saw it. Talking about fate. And after I watched the DVD, I fall in love with them that instant. I love all of their voice (they all have distinctive voice and sounded different from the usual Korean singer I heard).
I usually like Yoo Chun’s type of voice (deep sexy one). But it is Jae Joong’s and Jun Su’s voice that got me hook to them. I mean these two sounded so good I am amazed. So the rest is history. I started to find out more about them and listen to their song though I’m more familiar with their Japanese songs than Korean at first until I hear Rising Sun. This song is haunted. I fell in love with it right away and I love Chang Min’s voice in this one. And now I am hooked to them. I have never liked any group as much as I love Dong Bang.
Okay, I should cut the story short. It has gotten pretty long already. What I’m trying to say is that, I don’t like them because of their look. I mean looks come only after talent. I have passed those I like them because they are cute period. I listen to good songs and look for talented singers now. And DBSK has what it takes. Each member can definitely sing. I love their voices and it’s their personality and passion for singing that got me even more in love with them. Not just one, I love all five.
They have changed my life now. I used to feel so down and depressed then but after I know them I have changed. And looking at how hard they work and how passionate they are still on what they’re doing making me wanted to do the same too for my dream. It’s amazing how these young guys taught me a lot. (Okay, I’m older than all of them tiny bits but seriously they have been through so much compared to me. I have been through nothing compared to them but I have been complaining about it all the time.)
So thanks to DBSK I look at live differently now and am much happier than I ever was. They have been a part of my life and will still be for a long time. In a way I feel like I owed them for what they have did to me.
They have gone through a lot to get to where they are now, and they still have a long way to go. But I believe they will get there one day. I will pray for them and keep on supporting them. I may not be able to buy every thing that they will be releasing in the future but I will surely buy their album from now on.
So every one, lets continue to support them and help them create more history all right? DBSK Fighting!
