So you do you hug or kiss your family members?
Not as a kid but as a teenager or something cause I was reading this book and I realize Asians don't hug or kiss their relatives haha. At times when they're so freaking lovable and I just wanna hug them but i hold back cause i'm either too shy to or AWKWARD~~ I guess it's too 'mushy' for most Asians LOL, I only hug my cousins that are like 6 and under XD

i kiss/hug my parents when we bid farewell, out of the blue or just good night kisses.
i also kiss/hug my friends (cheeks of course they're all too cute lol) on their bdays, out of the blue,
or when i haven't seen em in a long time.

I will only hug you if I haven't seen you in a while, male or female. I don't do the kissing thing. And I only hug my brothers for pictures. I hug/kiss my mom all the time.

As for my friends and my sister, different story. We basically rape each other. ok kidding about the rape part.

I used to hug and kiss relatives, particularly our grandparents, when I was a kid because my brother and I were really clingy and sensitive kids, but not so much now
I only really hug family members when they approach us with their arms open or just when I want one lol

Oh yeah i did find that sorta sad knowing that asians don't really hug / kiss their parents
as much then ppl here in america..'cause everyone needs affection.

Yeah and me and my grandma used to live in different states so i didn't get to see her
until i finally went to where she was and I always gave her hugs 'cause I'm used to it.
She would always hug me all awkward like if she never has been hugged before, but now
she's the one who opens her arms to hug me hahaha! I'm happy now that my grandma can
be more open without feeling awkward anymore.

if we're talking pictures..umm the only time i hugged my bro was
when he graduated, but other than that i will never hug my bro. if u knew him, i'll understand why.

Yeah. My dad, people find it strange that I still do it but it's just a family kiss. Theirs nothing strange about that.

Don't really hug my parents but my mum surprises me with hugs every now and then.
My cousins are human-huggers. They greet almost everyone with a hug.
