we all know that sandara park is going to be the next cute and innocent one in the new yg girl group coming up... but is she innocent enough?
im just wondering what you guys think i don't dislike her, i too was just shocked when i saw these... because i thought what if we saw sohee in this..many would be devastated LOL ( i don't know if im breaking a soompi rule so just tell me if i am )

Its my last hope for girl groups. If shes like that id rather accept it, tahn have her try and be fakey cute (like some other groups we know)

As long as shes great singing, powerful image and confident in what shes doing, I can put my hope shell be fine in this girl group.

anyhow..uhm yeah she did pose for that magazine..but i dunno about the "cute" image...I think the NEW GIRLS from YG will not have a CUTE image..more of a uhm...HIPHOP/RnB kinda thing?..i'm not sure though...so that's be uhm sexy?

I still wonder..up to this day, why YG will launch her as one of their new artist...hmm maybe she did improve...so we'll see...

those photos arent recent, that photoshoot was taken 2 to 3 years ago.

i know those photos emerge in korea recently, but Sandy only did this photoshoot just once and no more, i dont think she has plans ever to make another one of these.

and you ask if she good enough for the yg girl group, i say she is more than enough, Sandara has been well experienced than any other member from that group with comes to showbiz, even though its different korea and the philippines, but she knows more about it than any of them, and plus she really good in acting.

for now we cant say how much she improved over the past year, but she definitely improve on her dancing, but for now we have no say if shes good enough for the group or not, its still YG's decision, and whatever their decision is, its for Sandy's benefit.

She is in fact doing great on her training sessions at YG. And you can say that she really improved. Her recent videos dancing with CL and Min at Youtube will give you a lot of ideas how well they did before debuting.

And please to all, Sandara is totally different now.
I'm really excited on their group debut.

i have a really big problem when companies try to use a once famed star and stuff them into a girl band (i.e. dana from csjh). the reason why it doesn't work is because that "mysteriousness" is gone...and you think of the band as dana and csjh or in this case, sandara park - the once famous star who got ousted by viewers- and band.

sandara park is better off letting the group travel a new path than to drag it down with an image. sandara needs to work instead on changing her image...through acting for instance. besides, wasn't she always criticized for her not so great singing ability while in the philippines?

to be fair, when she was in the philippines she sang in tagalog and english, 2 languages she learned... not her native tongue.

also there are a fair few girl groups who have some members who are not as strong as others, im not going to name names, but surely everyone is aware of them anyway

It is not worth making a topic out of this issue. The fact is, if YG puts her in the new group, she is a group member no matter whether she is good enough or not.
