Most, if not all, colleges accept both.
However, West Coast and East Coast schools prefer SAT while Midwest and Southern schools prefer ACT.
Prefer as in, it's more prevalent I guess.
But, if you bad on SAT, you can use the ACT as a fall back.
There are people who do bad on SAT and great on ACT and vice-versa.
I might register for the September or October ACT to see if I do better than the SAT.

Comparatively my PLAN score was better to my PSAT, but not by much.
Overall just take both, and take whichever one is better (comparatively)

The ACT is easier than the SAT, that's what everyone says.
I already took the SAT test and it was okay.
I might take the ACT when school starts again.
But if you plan on going to a university then you have to take both tests.

Oh okay!
I plan on going to UC's.
I'll take both the PLAN and PSAT and see which I score better in.
But, do colleges see ALL scores?
Or just the ones you choose to send?
Because if I get a good ACT score and a HORRIBLE SAT score,
that won't look good...
Thanks =]

ACT and SAT are from different companies.
So, you can send just your SAT or ACT and they won't see the other, as long as you don't send it.

Just take both lol. Some people prefer ACT, some prefer SAT. You won't really know what YOU prefer by listening to others =x.
So just try 'em both~
