and all you other brothers can't deny,
when a girl walks in, with an itty bitty waist,
and a round thing in yo' face,
YOU GET SPRUNG!
I had to. + I just saw Ross & Rachael sing it on Friends just before.

hmm~for me, running works though. I think it might work for u too, but just slower.
Did u massage ur thighs after running? U should...haha
try some fat burning creams? LOL heard of those?
ah~right, u can try wrapping ur thighs with the thin plastic sheets for covering food, lol what do u call that? xP
Let ur thighs sweat for maybe 30 min? it will be better if u wrap ur thighs after exercising. Ur thighs will sweat more.
This will help reduce water tension~and makes ur thighs appear thinner.
hope that helps~

Do you just run? How long/times a week?
You might need some muscle building exercises added to your regime. Or maybe a different type of cardio would work better for you, have you ever tried cycling? (riding the bike that goes nowhere
I have naturally bigger hips/thighs, and cycling is what helped me the most.

If you do run, make sure to not run too fast. From my experience, I do better jogging at a comfortable pace for a long time, then running really fast for a shorter period of time (that tends to increase my thigh circumference because of the muscles).
I'm sure you eat healthy, so just really limit your sugar intake and eat mindfully.
And if you just want to feel better, go have a cup of tea

i say do exercises that focus on abs, butt, and thigh region. i think swimming will tone that region.

sadly my butt+thighs are soooo out of porporation with my smaller upper half of my body..I think you just have to lose weight overall because no matter what you will always be bigger on the bottom than on top..I guess toning it would take really hard work since target/spot training is tough..I used to do squats which helped a little but the most effective method was losing weight all over.

You'd probably have to do these often to see results.
But I have the same problem as you.
However, my body shape is "inverted triangle",
so it kind of helps me get the illusion of an hourglass figure.
Although I would like to get rid of the flabbyness from there!
People can live alone, swimming whichever way they please, following the current of their feelings.
But if you live like this too long, you will drown.

Jog for about a minute then sprint for 30 secs, if you can't do that, or it's too easy, you can adjust it and increase the sprinting time/decrease jogging time. Do this for a max of 20 minutes, any more than that and it's pretty much overkill. Interval training keeps your heart rate high and seriously.. sprinting is crazy.
My point is, just jogging isn't going to help burn much fat, if you're trying to lose weight. If you want to slim up a little, you have to do intense sprinting because sprinting is something your body can't get used to. If you constantly jog at one pace, your body gets used to it and learned to utilize its energy sources (fat, carbs, etc.) so it ends up burn less fat for more energy. If you sprint, you continually push your body to use more of those resources and thus not allow it to adapt.
Oh and slimming down has a lot to do with your diet.

YES This is the 100% correct answer! Kirosuke knows what's up. (:
I have 4 different personal trainer friends that have a really impressive clientele, respectively. When I need advice on nutrition, strength, weightlifting, or how to lose fat, they are the ones who advise me, and High-Intensity Interval Training is the downright QUICKEST way to burn off fat, when you're also on a healthy diet.
Recent clinical studies show that using this interval training burns 9 times as much subcutaneous fat than just jogging/running steadily alone. After doing a 4-minute session of sprinting for 30 seconds (with your MAXIMUM EFFORT - speed doesn't matter, just run like crazy!!!) and jogging for 30, you will want to die. You might feel like throwing up, even. But for the next 4 hours... you'll feel hot, and still sweating a bit. The body fat is still going to burn off of you for the next 24-48 hours.
Do HIIT every other day, in between weightlifting and a proper diet, and you definitely will see a difference. Although for a beginner, I think a 30/60 split is more recommended. It's preferred that you do this on a track or something too, since machines are kind of hard to go all out on.
MOST Important to know, Spot reducing is a myth. You can't lose "just the fat on your thighs", it's all over your body. I promise you though, keep this routine up consistently and with maximum effort in the Sprints, and get out a tape measurer in 3-4 weeks and see if your thighs and waistline haven't gone down. It WORKS.
4 minutes a day. You can handle that, yah?

I don't mean to be....mean, but if you just look through 10 freaking pages of health & fitness,
you can find just about 5 threads asking for tips and whatnot. ALL REPEATED TIPS, TOO.
Anywho, running isn't to help lose fat around there. It basically builds calf muscle.
Try some yoga. Or pilates. Those Top 10 Thigh Trimmers. There are endless possibilities.

When I mean intense, it really is! They remove their butts from the bike seat and just ride the bike by using the strength in their butt and thighs... I tried that... my gosh, burn

It's a great aerobic workout for your lower body in general, and can burn about 450 calories in 45 minutes on average. The only problem is that it doesn't quite work out ALL your lower body muscles, so you would need to cross-train to compensate, and look out for knee injuries.
