i like this spin on the whole vampire story, this makes it seem realistic. i just started watching this show, unfortunately no HBO so I rely on saturday (when its plays reruns) at work. im very interested in getting my hands on season 1, the opening scene is very intriguing. im in love with this show. i cant believe that his worker bit the girl.

*TOTALLY FANGIRLING RIGHT NOW*

I'm sooo hoping for an EricxSookie hook up. That would be so frickin' hot. OH MY GOSH!!! The whole rest of the season looks frickin' hot. But was that Eric chained and burnt? It sure looked like it to me. The whole Marianne story line needs to go away. I like that the writers are giving Sam a greater role than just being Sookie's boss but seriously this last episode was like orgy to the max and it turned me off. Instead of drunken orgies, the writers need to give us more Jessica and Hoyt. I think they're starting to be my next favorite couple.

P.S. I wish True Blood episodes were longer or showed twice a week. I'm so addicted to the show that I can't stand waiting a whole week for my True Blood fix.

P.P.S. A couple pages back people were talking about the Southern accents and I have to say that I always want to talk with a Southern accent after I watch True Blood.

lol i loved the eric scene and the hoytxjessica! They are just too adorable! and wtf why is eric the one who brought lorena...lorena wuz supose to summon bill and bill went to her...bleh. gosh i cant wait for ericxsook!!! hot hot hot!! XD and that daphene turning on sam thing was a disapointment....and i was liking her character =( jeesh they should just rid of the whole marryann-sam thing. it's so boring...they probably just made that shizz up so that the other characters would have a role...

i would say not....its loosely based on the books..so only the main plot outlines are the same, other than that AB made it his own and changed a heckalot of things. so if you've read the books, watching the show ain't boring and if you've seen the show, reading the books ain't boring either...in terms of being the same not personal preference xP

sookie is more tough and sarcastic in the books i say!! the tv sookie is more girly =s

I really hope they don't just keep Bill and Sookie love relationship around forever. I'm not sure how the other books can actually work with Bill and Sookie together even though the show is suppose to be loosely based. Sookie seems to be less religious in the show. I really like when she says "Jesus Christ, Shepherd of Judea" a lot in the books.

I've been following True Blood since it premiered in September of last year. Great show. Love the campy drama and general epicness.

Skarsgard is the hottest thing on two feet. That is all.

Lorena and Bill circa 1920s was really hot too. Bloody and disgusting, but hot.

well, this was a episode full of betrayal! I guess Egg is the real helper or Marryann's...
kinda weird how the menaed and sam are emenies when in the book they are brief lovers...i like book sam better. he's much cooler and easy going and not so worrisome.

it seems like Ab is making Bill SO much more likeable and eric not as likeable wtf man. so unfair to eric >(cuz now if sookie knows about lorena, then it won't even be that big in the third book with how bill betrays her by being with lorena...cause then she'd already know who lorena is and stuff right??

Anyways, who knew Godric would be so good looking in modern days? He looks like a college athlete now. I always hate it when the episodes end. It sucks because you always get drawn in for an hour and then it ends with a MAJOR cliffhanger. I think they show too much stuff on Tara/Sam/Marianne. I would be much happier if the episodes mainly focused Sookie/Bill/Eric/Jason but I felt like we got to see the other storyline more than the main one. Oh well...have to wait till next week.

Oh yeah, I think Eric already has the hots for Sookie. I'm looking forward to the EricxSookie love. I was thinking that they totally need their own "Brangelina-esque" couple name. So what sounds better "Erookie" or "Sookric?"

^ I actually enjoy the sub-plots. I tend to get bored if a story just focuses on two lovers and their relationship. I love Sookie and Bill, but I enjoy the fire of Tara and enjoy seeing her in her own isolated situations.
I'm REALLY looking forward to Lafayette's story. I wonder where they are going to go with it and how deep he is going to get with Eric and Pam.
And of course, I'm curious as to next week's episode. Ugh, when is this week going to speed up?
