emotionally, lyrically, and musically (like, the actual intrumental music), i think haru haru > lie. i like the new, more mature feel of it. personally i hope that haru haru tops the charts just like lie, maybe even more.

that'll just prove that bigbang doesn't need catchy beats or english lines just to be popular. having a catchy song and having a "good" song are two different things to me. and haru haru qualifies as "good" in my book.

I think it does surpass Lies... I think I still like Lies better though just because it doesn't make me cry everytime I listen to it haha BUT thats one of the reasons I think Haru Haru is more great than Lies. Its got so much emotion put into it and the MV that they made for it just adds to that greatness. I'm pretty sure that most BB fans would agree that GD and TOP's acting in it was so touching. They were SO into it and that gets us into it.

I agree. HARU HARU is also actually amazing musically. I mean i could listen to it without lyrics and still be addicted. It's melody is very well done. the chorus is catchy, but so it the rap parts and versus- with lies it was just a good hook line but Haru haru is a good everything!!

Also, for doubters, wait for the dance to come out for it lol(if their is one)- it will surpass lie.

moreover..that song is big bang's song that first i heard~
Koh Jid Mal already accompanied me in any occasions, any mood..that song helped me passing hard time too~
so..
it's gonna be hard for me to compare Haru Haru and Koh Jid Mal~

Haru haru has "definetly-touching" lyric and cute tones~
while Koh Jid Mal has faster tempo, touching lyric too but not as touching as Haru Haru..

but..Big Bang's songs always reccomended to listen anyway~
so is it Haru haru or Koh Jid Mal..it's always great~

yeah, i think the piano makes it extremely catchy. and in the chorus
when the beat totally explodes, kinda like lies. but i think one of the
reasons people think this song isn't as catchy is because ot doesn't
have one of those phrases like 'B to the I to the G Bang Bang"
or 'I'm so sorry but i love you." but this song is amazing i think.
and i like how this time, gd puts top rap in the beginning with him.
and it seems like this time he gave seungri more parts. and
daesung's vocals seem to now suit him more. he's making parts
for all the members fir their voices more. so that's good. haha

honestly IDK anymore. the more i listen to this album i feel like they lost so much of what they started out with. like they had this Hip Hop and R&B style going on but now with "Lies" & "Haru Haru" , i feel like they just are heading down load to the boyband side. DONT GET ME WRONG but a lot of these fans that enjoy this song is more of the fans that like them in the "Lies" era rather then the fans that liked "La La La", "A Fool's Only Tears" & etc. i think it might have a chance of surpassing "Lies" but most fans that liked "Lies" are going to say yea but the fans that like BB before "Lies" are going to be like it might.

it can go both ways. it ur a gd or top fan of course u will like it cuz the whole song was mainly them and the others are really background singers. >.< but i no it will do good.
