Does anyone know (hopefully tried) any methods to make your hair grow faster?

The lady who cut my hair, cut it REALLY short (IMO) before my hair was REALLY long and...for some reason she decided to cut like 5 inches whne I said to cut only 2. I want to grow out my hair again (5 inches). Does anyone know how long that would take and is there anything I can do to make it grow faster??? I dont want to wait 6 months!!!! tears.gif tears.gif tears.gif tears.gif tears.gif tears.gif

Right now its the length where I can still tie it up but it looks REALLY FUG and gross.

this was my hair length before

Now its this length

I feel SO insecure right now.....

can anyone give any tips on how to make it grow faster and how long it would take???????

Hair grows roughly 0.5 inches a month; that's around ~1cm.
From the pics, that looks like it'll take 1year+ to regain that, lol. gg.

Be healthy; eat enough proteins/vitams and such :X

T_T

no pantene

you can get vitamins that supposedly help your hair grow
i don't know if that works
i cut my hair shorter than that and it's back to the length of boa's in like a year T_T
so maybe it'll only take you like 6 months
i dunno, your gonna have to be patient
extensions always work even though they are annoying..

There are a lot of products on the market claiming that they will help make your hair grow faster, but unfortunately they don't actually work that way. dry.gif

What they do is provide a lot of vitamins and proteins to make your grow healthy, so that you won't have to cut off as much damaged hair the next time you go to get your hair cut.

Don't waste your money/time trying pills or creams that say that they will make your hair grow faster. Instead....

*Massage your scalp daily (it increases blood flow to the scalp which stimulates hair growth)
*Try not to blow dry or straighten your hair too much (So you won't damage your ends and have to cut them off)
*Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (Again, to prevent as much damage as possible)
*Take vitamins A, C, and E. (All of them help to maintain healthy hair AND skin)

I hope this helps smile.gif

yeah this stuff is serious. wu shou pian is used for alopecia, and or thinning/graying hair. so a lot of old ppl use it. lolz! my best friend is an acupuncturist & she prescribes lots of chiese herbs & pills for various ailments.

chinese medicine is always seriously strong & results oriented. my hair was dyed brown awhile back but my roots are now jet black. and freakin thick. my hair length right now is on my profile. my avatar is what my hair length was 2 months ago.

One of my friends told me Garnier Fructis "Long and Strong" shampoo and cond. made her hair grow very fast.
I just bought some for myself to try it out! I'll see how it goes

Average hair growth is 0.5 inches, like stated above.. but it all depends on the individual. My hair, for example, grows about an inch a month. ph34r.gif

It is trite to speak of a broken heart. Hearts are not broken; they continue to beat, the blood still courses, even in the bitter after-days of betrayal. But something IS broken when pain beyond words is suffered; some connexion that formerly existed with light and hope and bright mornings is severed, and can never be restored.

aside from what everyone else has suggested; tie your hair up when you're outdoors to reduce tangles (in turn reducing breakage), treat your hair very delicately when it's wet.

You cant really speed up hair growth but apparently some people say that taking Biotin does. I'm taking it atm since my hair has been shedding a lot lately. Another plus is that its good for skin and nails.

Garnier & Fructis. I bought it cause I thought it would help my hair grow fast since it says ' long&strong' but it did nothing...this was bout 3 years ago or 2 years ago.

I think I say somewhere on soompi. Use eggs? On your head. But I could be wrong

Oh try combing your hair with a brush like a lot since its like massaging your scalp xP I do this when I have time & it circulates our scalps.

& braiding too which helps ( my aunt do this to me when I was little & my cousin did this cause the haircut person cut her hair too short )

T_T I wish my haiir grew back . I shouldn't have cut my own hair rawr.

But the ones I'm doing is combing, I can't braid my hair yet.

Edit & if your hair is long already it tends to grow faster, I'm guessing its thinner at the end of the hair & for short hair? I guess its thick even tho it doesn't look or seem thick.
