It'll take some time to see some actual results... even if your abs do get stronger and more prominent, if you still have belly fat it will still show. Maybe some fat-burning exercises...
OH, and when you -do- do ab exercises, make sure you do them slooowly. That way your muscles are actually doing work because they will have to hold the position, which will be better than doing it fast.
Does that make sense?
