What do you think of the book? Is it worth the read? Your critique of the book? Thanks. Planning to read it.. need opinions on it. I heard it was too sad... and it was too boring...

I had to read it in english class this year, and imo it was one of the better books compared with the other books I had to read in class. It's sad but kind of satisfactory in a way... anyway, you get to learn a lot about Indian culture from it (I did anyway 
).

Yes for my freshman English (H.S.), which was few years back <cough> 
As rain-a-sky said i's sad but satisfying (the ending)...very slow-paced but the book is thin enough.
Hence, I recommend it.
