Since I'm done with summer school, I'm home most of the time and I realize that I have nothing really to do. I rant when I'm in school that I want to do so much things and now that I'm done...I'm just home chilling. I realize I don't know much of hobbies beside school and work. I could hang out with my friends, but most of them are still in summer school or busy with work.

So what do you do now that you're in college for a hobbies? Join a club? Join a sport team?

AHAHA you're like me! I am not taking summer school while all my friends are..and all I do is bum o_o..i wanted to get a job but I was too late already..so ya >.> I found some really good books to read..so I've been doing that..some trips with my friends and chilling with them..if not I find videos to watch O_O yep..it gets boring kinda

well i did go to summer school but that was earlier in may. however, i was practically gone this whole summer (still too lazy to unpack my suite case and i'm moving back to the dorms soon ><) i visited my bf in dc, went to the beach, and went to the beach again with the bf and friends... now i'm here at home on soompi doing nothing lol... i have no friends to hang out with; their either out of town, working, or they don't want to hang with me :[

mostly church...but other than that i watch way too many dramas, walk around nyc when i can and go to the movies by myself...not too many hang out friends these days

My friends are all busy with work too, but there's so much stuff to do yourself. My planned summer activities have been:

- movie/drama watching
- exploring downtown
- learning how to ride a bike (yeah, sad)
- practicing driving (still need to get my license)
- learning how to use a sewing machine, and DIYing my clothes
- read books you've wanted to read

Yeah like you said, basically anything I didn't have time to do but wanted to do during the school year. Summer's almost over, get on it fast!

I like to play music (I play two instruments, so there's plenty to work on), read novels in Spanish (and in English, of course), take looooong walks outside with my dog, work out, watch dramas and movies, and SLEEP for once. Unfortunately, I've done pretty much nothing but work and take classes this summer, so I haven't had much time to do whatever I want and I've been really tired.

im in the same situation. i skipped summer school this year while everyone else still has it. so now ive been just bumming for the last couple of months trying to fill up time. i found myself shopping, on the computer, watching movies, and reading more than ever.

hobbies... more like habit now for me. go to school come back home and go online, play games, then homework.
if i skip school mainly for food or a movie.
skipping class hang in the cafeteria doing nothing or playing cards.

other than that its home and nothing else.

i hang out after work with my bf, coworkers, and some students of ours. we just go play baseball, football, or frisbee. it's not much but we try to get the kids to come out so they don't go home and sit in front of the computer or tv.

i'm wasting at home right now, i have about 2 more weeks to sulk at home.
other than workout and eat, i pretty much do nothing

Lol. School and work is not a hobby for me in the first place.

But hobbies..

I say recording/mixing clips, internet, watch dramas etc, [online] shopping since there aren't many malls/shops in my college town, hanging out w/ friends.. helping out with this club i'm in.. etc., sleep.

Actually, my situation like you but not exactly. I just keep learning English, watching movie and a little bit magic tricks. Just find something you have interest and do it. After graduation, no more time for rest and laid-back, enjoy it anyway!

During the summer is when I work full-time--- it can suck lol. I also work out before work everyday which is good 'cuz I tend to get lazy during school. Other than that I try to spend time with friends and jus go out. Actually my friends has been busy during this summer so spending time with them is effort. So when I have free time, I like to write, go online, draw and do some pointless stuff. I only have a bout a month before I start school again, and I really want to continue working on shooting pool and I wanna learn how to drive a motorcycle.

same. didn't want to do summer school cause didn't want to shell out the cash for a class.. but next summer i'll take a class definitely.

it was really boring and i'm kind of excited for classes to start again :].

if it was high school, it'd be a different story.
but college is definitely more enjoyable.
