Calcium is good for nails, vitamin D too. Both are found in milk. Also calcium is in yoghurt too.

Those buffers really work beautifully! Usually it's the last stage, the Silk buffer, that brings the oils of your nail to the surface. They makes your nail glossy and smooth, like you just put some clear gloss on.

Feeling cheap? Find some 100% silk (scarf or whatever) and buff your nails on that. While it doesn't have a "nail ridge buffer" like the ones you posted, it will get your nails somewhat shiny.

yea those work REALLY well biggrin.gif
cus my natural nails are kinda riply, and bleeeh so i use that and it helps ALOT biggrin.gif it really
looks polished ^___^; just make sure you don't over-use it or use it TOOO TOOOO much. because is kinda scrubs the top layer of your nails to make it shiny smile.gif and yea, i did that once and my nails went thin.. i had to stop buffing them and had to wait for them to fully grow out before i could buff again !

The block nail buffers work really well.
When I took off my fake nails, my natural
nails were pretty dry and thin so I would
buff them to keep them shiny and smooth.
Also I put Extra Virgin olive oil on them
and it helped my nails get strong and nice.

The buffers make nails pretty shiny..you could also rub in a drop of vitamin e oil as well.

buffers do work but i noticed that if you buff a little too much, your nail gets so thin that it actually hurts. just giving you a heads up so you can be careful smile.gif

Those buffers work realllyyy well.
Calcium and protein and overall good nutrition helps tons too.
I eat waaay too much cheese/milk and the ends of my nails (white part) are SO white and strong. People comment on how white they are and they ask if I painted them haha.
I always look like I have a French manicure ph34r.gif

Yes the buffers work well.
And it doesn't require a lot of time so I'd recommend getting one if you're thinking about it.

i want nice looking nails, but my nails are weird looking since they're kinda square-ish and sometimes rectangular shaped.

The Revlon Speed Buffer works wonders!

There's one side to even out ridges and whatnot, and the other side to make it super shiny.

My nails look glossy and smooth and so gorgeous after.
