It all started out in 6th grade when I came across Dir en Grey's Umbrella song at a lonely website I stumbled upon while surfing the web. (ahh...youth).

Huh, which was weird cause I didn't know they were talking about freak shows and food, neither of which I had interest in.

Mine was Umbrella by Dir en grey too! Well, either that or Saku. I forget.

I think it was X JAPAN's Tears. I loved that song, but it wasn't exactly the reason why I became a jrock fan. Still, I love this song now and then. ^_^

Well, if it's considered Jrock, I got Gackt's "Sekiray" first. That led to MALICE MIZER's "Le ciel" (single version) which really kicked off my Jrock fandom.

That was back Freshman year of high school in.... late 2001. I'm so old. ;___;

Shunkashuutou by alice nine. was my first j-rock song i heard ever. then it was their song velvet that truly hooked me in.

mine is miyavi-itoshii hito.
i was on crunchyroll and you know those preview thing.
I saw miyavi and thought he was a pretty girl so i click on it and i was like woah not only to the song but the gender too XD

Dir en Grey's Cage when I was eleven [6th grade].
It's quite a common first song, but it certainly drawed me in.
I still listen to it quite frequently. :]

Hmmm not sure 'bout White Prayer or World End Anthology but i'm absolutely positively sure that the first jrock song i've heard was by alice nine. XD
