If anyone is majoring in Economics in a university or college and taken AP Economic in high school, I was wondering if its anything alike. I'd also like to know what's the difference too, if possible. I want to major in Economics, but I'm not sure if it's boring or not (I know people's interest are different) but still.

AP classes are usually just an equivalent to the "Intro to _____" classes in college. The coursework for a major usually involves classes that are more in-depth. For example, a biology major might involve the following classes: Genetics, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, etc... (sorry I'm not familiar enough with economics to give an economics example).
AP Economics (I think it comes it micro- and macro-) should give you an idea of whether you'd like to study more or not, so definitely take it if you're considering a major in economics.
