I have a question!!!
For my work, my boss just emailed me about wanting me to "put the jpgs. of the bookcovers she uses in her proposal."
What does that mean? What is a jpgs?!?!?! For some reason, Googling it doesn't help me much.

^ So basically she's wanting me to get the pic files for the bookcover pictures she uses? Is that when you left-click for "Properties" and get the URL Address of a picture--> JPG?!
I would really appreciate if someone answers..

I don't want to sound stupid. Is it a commonly used word?!

Yes. She want's you to get the pictures. They might not actually be in .jpg format,
but alot of people use that term for any image file other than .gif

^ Oh okay, so I guess it doesn't matter from which website I get it, wouldn't the picture files be different depending on the website? I'm planning on getting it from Amazon.com, that's legit for sure..
Okay, if I'm not wrong, thank you so much!!!!! I feel a lot better.

Most sites use jpeg formats. Sometimes it's in .png format. It's easy to change extensions if you ever need to. Just PM me.
I never knew people use jpgs as a term for images. Seems weird to me, oh well. I learned something new.

^ Thanks!
I think I'm okay. I went to Amazon for the book pictures, and when I looked up their picture file, it's in .jpg
So just using that would be fine right? It's not an extension or anything weird? Thanks!
