I don't like having too many icons on my desktop, so I regularly clean it up. Right now I have 11 icons for programs I regularly used.

Right now, it's ten.
Five on the top,
Five on the bottom.And they're all spaced out evenly.

It just looks neater like that.
It also blends in with my wallpaper nicely.

I have 24 desktop icons, and 9 folders. I have a lot on my desktop and I barely use everything. I should clear it up, ah.

I only have one icon on my desktop (I have a mac, btw).
but even if it wasn't a mac I'd probably only have 8 at the most - I hate cluttered desktops.
