After you buy something (paid by cash), and the cashier gives your change back.
Do you count it to make sure it's the right amount or just put it away without counting?
Or do you not pay with cash to avoid the hassle?

I always just stuff my change into my wallet without checking and walk away real fast.

once I bought something for $17. I gave $20, and got nothing back
there were only one guy behind me but the cashier totally ignored me...
and another time I bought a pendant. It was suppose to be 75% sale, but the cashier couldn't do the math and gave me 25% discount instead WTF!?.. I didn't notice after I got home...

no, haha. I just stuff it in my pocket (too lazy to open my wallet again or even keep it opened)
and even if they did give me the wrong amount of change, I don't really find out.

I can usually check as they're taking out the money from the register, but if I can't see them do it, then I glance at it as they're giving it to me to see that they at least gave me the correct amount of bills and do the counting as I'm walking out. I don't care about coin change too much so I put that straight into my wallet.

Anything over in change more than 50 cents, yes. Anything under 50 cents, no. Reason being is I can see if its close enough. I've been cheated a few times *shake fist* and I do business there all the time too!! Pissed me off. I wont fight for a difference of a dollar or less hehehe Yeah a dollar cheated from me could be the cost of something I can get from a dollar store

If it was a large amount, the cashier usually count it for you in your face.

I try and check when they take it out the cashier thingy if I can see it.. I don't really remember being cheated, but I gave a 20 for a 3 dollar purchase and i got like... 22 dollars back once.. XD

althouhg i do go over the receipts when i get home =P if that counts for anything.
