I told myself i will never dare do a cover on Brown Eyes ever again. HAHAHA

But you rock for being braver than me.

There's something about your voice that i really really like! But i can't quite put a finger on it.
I think some parts could've been more controlled; there were some straining happening.
With the gentle-sounding notes in the verses, it seems like you could've controlled them more, but you let it slip away.
I know that doesn't make sense, but i'm no pro at this myself hehe. Perhaps, more support. =)
But gee, i love your emotion!!! The chorus with the crescendo.. OH WOW.
And the bridge?? My gollie.. you really went all out for it. Bravo for reaching those notes!!!!
Overall, it was NOT as bad as you made it sound like in your post.

Keep it uppppp!! I want to hear more Brown Eyes stuff around here.

you're pretty good. it sounds like you've been practicing for a while and at times it slips off into a different pitch.
--[that happens to me when I practice a lot and my voice goes off pitch very easily...] haha

i think you should hold out some of your notes a little longer. You also kept changing the pitch or went off tune a lot, just keep your ears out for that. man, i wish i could reach the high notes too.. haha =( good job on reaching them. honestly i think if you keep practicing you can get a hella lot better =p

btw, do you put any reverb on your recordings? i think it would make your voice sound a bit smoother, which is a good thing ;]

anyways, good job. just try to watch out for what i said and keep singing!

you were off key a lot in verse 1- vibrato is supposed to keep you on key so dont force yourself into using it when you dont need to or when it doesnt come naturally
your voice sounds really strained (i think the verses were supposed to be done with head voice - from what i remember) - i dont think its cause you cant reach those notes... you arent singing it properly

verse 2 sounded a lot better though!

im sure after you master a few techniques here and there youll sound awesome - this was a bit rough though

joong33 - yeah i try to record an entire song in one sitting, so my voice runs out and i sound worse as i go.. but thanks for the compliments =)
bboyrushfive - yeah maybe i'll try recording this song again, maybe it'll sound better then (i tried recording it without really practicing it first). and i suck at editing recordings so i don't really use reverb stuff haha (last time i tried, it sounded weird so i gave up).
aliks089 - yeah the verses are done in head voice by brown eyes, but my head voice range isn't that great, that's why it sounds strained. if it was done falsetto it'd be easier though =P. in verse 2 i used a little of chest voice that's why it sounds a bit better. i guess i'll have to use what i'm better at =) thanks for your advice
