I've been noticing dark circles under my eyes and I've been trying to get rid of them by eating broccoli and vegetables because it's known to be helpful to it, but it's not doing much. I just read a fellow Soompier's post about the Garnier Nutritionist Caffeine Roll on and went to Makeup alley to read some reviews and it just says that it miraculously helps the puffiness but not the dark circles. I know it's hereditary for some people but I don't think it is for me, I've never had it before.

Do any of you girls know anything that can help get rid of them?

Freeze a spoon and hold it under your eyes... that usually helps with bags, anyway. I should be doing this stuff since I have horrible dark circles and bags from going to bed late/waking up early for work blush.gif

Dont rub your eyes too much, drink lots of water to increase blood circulation. and of course. lots and lots of sleep.

THERE IS NO CURE FOR DARK CIRCLES!!!!!!!

I am terribly sorry to dissapoint you, i have been on the hunt for a cure
myself, the only thing ive heard about is products with collagen and peptids????
i dont know but who knows anymore...

yeah dont rub your eyes too much because it has something to do with
decreasing the circulation of the tiny blood vessels under the eyes...

people say that lack of sleep is the cause of dark circles BUT sleeplessness
has nothing to do with that, your dark circles remain the same BUT because
of lack of sleep your face gets paler and it makes the dark circles stand out
more, so... YOU SHOULD get a good night sleep to prevent the paleness....

ive been told to just go tanning to fade them.... so ill try it and get back to you guys sometime in the future!

Ohmaga I hate dark circles ><! I have huge panda eyes and I can't stand them! I don't think there's an exact cure for dark circles but there are things that can help? I heard putting a cold spoon on it helps and if all else fails theres always good ol' concealer smile.gif And of course there's the drink extra water and get extra sleep but I think once you get them it's hard for dark circles to go away, even with all the extra care that is put in it.

Yes they can, if you go to sleep earlier more often in your daily routine.

EDIT: nevermind, what do you mean by natural?

There really is no cure for dark circles. I have really horrible ones. What works is putting a concealer under your eye and a small bit of shimmery gold/yellow shadow.

sorry to burst your bubble, if you've tried broccoli, drinking loads of water and sleeping more and they're still pretty noticeable? then you're stuck with them i'm afraid.

Dark circles from my experience are permanent, the best you can do is reduce the visibility. IF you're lucky like some people i know, the dark circles aren't so severe and god rest will do. none of the products will help much unless you're covering them like concealer etc.

Hey hun! I get these awfully bad if I'm not up to par with my sleep.

-Plain gelatin paste helps a lot. I read this on Makeupalley.com where a girl who worked at a spa said this is what the fancy treatment actually is.
-COLD spoons under your eyes, helps me big time, also makes my eyes feel fresh and awake
-Concealer, but don't go too light, or else it will look very bad and obvious
-ORANGE lipstick/shades, use lightly, but orange cancels blue, which is the color of the blood your are seeing, basically that is the "dark circle", blood flow.

HTH!

I don't think the spoon/tea bag thing works for dark circles. I think that just helps with the puffiness more.

Just try to get more sleep. Certain types of eye creams can help diminish your dark circles. Wear coverup
