How do you act in this situation? You can always just pretend you didn't say anything but you'll feel ignored and embarrassed right?
And it's not the situation where people don't hear you, it's when they hear you, but then talk to someone else, or cuts you off when you're talking to scream to someone else, or you're talking and they turn their heads to someone who calls them and never lets you finish to what you say.

Some people DO turn back around and say "oh sorry what was that?" but half the time people don't remember I was talking first.

How would you react or feel like that? =P

Yeah I know what you mean...there's this girl before who became close to my bestfriend since they are in the same apartment...I hate her coz everytime i try to say someting she usually starts talking about something...sometimes i feel embarass and then by the time she's done talking i already forgot what i was suppose to say...

I think she has the habit of butting into conversations that generally doesn't concern her...so eveytime she's around I try not to talk much so my bestfriend is always worried about me, not talking and all...coz she thinks I'm mad coz she doesn't pay attention to me...

I told her it's okay but I just don't feel like talking though I really have somethign important to say...people should start paying attention to others especially when they are talking...I used to be like that but then after experiencing the same treatment i felt bad so I try and limit my talk and I try to ask my friends..."What can you say?" or something that would make them feel at ease...

It's rude to do this thing but maybe these people are not aware of that..so just try and understand them coz some people really have short attention span or just try and GET THE HINT...MAYBETHEY ARE NOT IN THE MOOD TO TALK WITH YOU AT ALL..THAT'LL SAVE YOU FROM EMBARASSMENT...^___^

I just brush it off and act like it didn't happen, so I can avoid an embarrassing situation. This happens to me a lot, when I'm saying something then someone starts talking, interrupting me. I think it's because I have a much quieter voice than everyone.

But my dad also does this to me too. :\ I have to ask him if he heard me. Sometimes he hears me and doesn't answer, but sometimes he actually doesn't hear me. >>

It's really playing rude to be doing that, I hate it when it happens and when it does, I'll just smile and go away. If they're ignoring me, I should be ignoring them too (duhh).

That is just messed up and rude; if they dont respond I would repeat what i said like 2 times
and if they STILL dont respond i would go up to them and be like ' YO WHY DIDNT YOU F**CKIN RESPOND!?!'
but usually they will just makeup an excuse like "oh sorry i didn't hear you" bs.

My mom does it all the time.
Theres one time when I didn't understand why she wouldn't answer me, so I kept asking her over and over again. And then got scold...
Probably she doesn't like what I said so she kept quiet instead of yelling straight face-to-face at me. (:

Like, if I'm talking to them, and it just looks like they're not paying attention to me at all, I just feel so stupid, because they're ignoring me.
